MBG – Are Bammers really this stupid?

At first, I thought this was due to a typo due to a missing decimal point. Then, I kept reading.

Good grief.

I guess the answer is yes. I’m sure this dude calls F-bum regularly.

Sometimes it’s best to be silent and thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt.

Message Board Geniuses: Heavy Lifting

This, mind you, coming from a TAMU message board…you know, the literal cornerstone of integrity.

What in the hades has Arkansas done to anybody since the Petrino incident? Are they scandalous because they suck at football?

Nice list, but having Texas way down there when you’re a rival is some interesting work.

MBG – Tooth Nation edition

Opinionated is probably correct, but knowledgeable is not necessarily a word I would use to describe Hillbilly fans.

I have some words I would use to describe them, but this seems like a good one to get our merry band of refugees to weigh in on.

Message Board Geniuses: Pre-Saban Relevance

Things aren’t going well over in west Alabama.

I mean, pre-Saban was actually pretty good for Alabama, because I think they had a decent coach at one time or something. I can’t be sure, but I think he’s the reason for certain fan wear choices in Tuscaloosa…

And Saban’s first year was a 7-6 campaign. While I can agree they’ve taken a step back since Saban left, I’d argue they’ve been taking small steps down ever since Kirby left, especially on the defensive side of the ball when his recruiting depth left the program a few years afterwards.

Aside from that, if the program in Tuscaloosa is about to go down in flames, I’d buy a front row seat and some popcorn just to enjoy the fall of Rome.

Message Board Geniuses: CFB Team Mostly Likely to Disappoint in 2026

MBG would like to weigh in on a topic of importance…who is going to be the biggest letdown in college football this upcoming season?

Is it even possible for Tennessee to disappoint at this point? Shouldn’t they be used to a solid two to three losses per season now? Granted, they don’t have to play Georgia (barring a matchup in the SECCG or CFP)…but to say we have high hopes for the Vols nowadays is an exercise in futility.

Or do they mean disappoint as in disappointing people who are hoping they’ll do poorly?

Personally, if I’m arguing with MBGs on this one, I’d say that tOSU, Oregon, or Texas Tech are more likely to disappoint, just maybe not in the way they’re describing. Lanning can’t get over the hump, the Suckeyes lost a good bit of talent off their roster that I find hard for them to merely replace, and I don’t think I need to mention the hole TTU is in given the hype around their “I’ll buy that for a dollar” mentality of roster building.

What do you think? Who will be the most disappointing team in CFB this season?

Message Board Geniuses – Who’s your daddy edition

The Hamburgers said on the SEC Network on the night they became official members of the SEC, “We want Georgia.” I think they have found out they don’t really want Georgia anymore.

For Mcm23, we find the combination of a triple letter score with a Q and a double word score that empties the tile for a 50 point bonus every time we play them.

Let’s let Kirby have the final word:

Message Board Geniuses: Fanbases React to the Sorsby Decision

Do you suppose Texas Tech fans have a shred of concern about the future of the sport?

I’d say “nah”.

Apparently, the Court of Appeals that would handle the next leg of this is chaired by Red Raiders:

Meanwhile, Texass fans are not pleased with their little brothers to the west…

*Checks notes* – Lambos and fat stacks of cash. Got it. While I am on Texas’s side here, I’d say the pot is calling the kettle unethical, just one is more “legally” ethical now that we’re in the era of NIL.

And, of course, it wouldn’t be a day ending in y if we didn’t have someone from our traditional SEC orange fan base whining about why they couldn’t get away with it, too.

“Why don’t we have a corrupt judge?” Boo hoo. Talk to a Georgia fan about the local legal system working against you, then wonder how we managed two National Championships while getting pulled over every other day of the week, and let’s resume the conversation after.

Message Board Geniuses: Big Orange Edition

First, from east Alabama, here’s some great insight into the mind of your fellow Barners.

I’ll answer his question for him: he’s about to become somehow smarter than before he experiments with Ketamine. At least, that’s what would happen with the average Auburn fan.

Another, from our friends up north, where the ravages of common core math seems to still be afflicting our Volunteer friends.

They wouldn’t be able to get the NIL fund they’re imagining, but they would have a fun day at Dollywood.

Bless their little brains hearts.

Message Board Geniuses: Atlanta regional nerd copium edition

I’m just going to leave this here.

You blew leads when you needed to win 1 game and then go on a rant about UGA. They obsess over us even when we’re not part of the game.

That walk off home run reminded me of this:

It’s just like when the swallows return to San Juan Capistrano … Fech fans go back to their “champions of life” copium. You would think with all their millionaires they could find a few to fund their athletic and NIL programs. Maybe that’ll happen when cricket and Quidditch become full college sports.

Meanwhile on the baseball forum at StinkTalk, the geniuses need their snowflake safe place:

My only reaction:

Message Board Geniuses: Losing with Integrity, The Auburn Way

Hoo boy. This is rich, coming from the land of make believe championships and Scam Newton.

Saying “not getting punished for cheating like every other athletic program” when you’re a Barner is doing some heavy lifting.

Remind me again why Terry Bowden didn’t win a real, live National Championship…and how Gene Chizik did? It’s interesting, isn’t it?

At Auburn you can do that. Actually, you can apparently do anything you want.
