Let all the Bulldog faithful rally behind the men who now wear the red and black with two words, two simple words which express the sentiments of the entire Bulldog Nation: Auburn Sucks.

Look how much cleaner Auburn's team picture looks. Im not ocd but the jumbled mess Alabama looks like drives me crazy. Auburn wins picture day 😄 pic.twitter.com/hgNP8SA7Sb
The University of Alabama’s Student Government Association and Panhellenic Association have released a “fan color schedule” for this season, which includes asking students to wear white against Georgia and black and white against Florida State. pic.twitter.com/ePesf2j8Oe

I would like to formally opt out of whatever this bullshit is. k thanks! https://t.co/2myy5fSwr1
In short, the Gumps are outraged at the idea of a forced choice for fan gear, and the SGA has since taken down the post. Apparently, the sentiment is that dress up days are gimmicky, and Alabama is above that.
Mind you, they’re not above the predicted top 3 teams in the conference for 2026, but that’s a whole other story.
Bama is dead (from the fan base’s sentiment surrounding this). Maybe we can mark the official death date as December 6th, 2025. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Breaking news: the SEC ejected regular Paul Finebaum Show caller Legend from the main floor at SEC media days today.
"They got every podcaster and basement-dweller in the country at this meeting with credentials, and he wants to come after the Legend…"https://t.co/3GOGVtnGwb
The @SEC has 24 hrs to publicly apologize to me for public humiliation, discrimination & restricting me from a public area in a hotel where I am a guest. If I am not apologized to in 24 hrs two of best lawyers in Alabama will be in Federal Court with a lawsuit Thursday morning.
While others without credentials were in the area at times both Monday and Tuesday, they were not conducting interviews. Legend said he had applied for credentials before the event, but the SEC denied his request.
“They got every podcaster and basement-dweller in the country at this meeting with credentials, and he wants to come after the Legend,” Legend said. “I’m on TV. I’m on radio. I think he’s got a problem with the Legend personally, and I think this is discriminatory.”
Pinkerton said he had no comment on the matter. AL.com observed a portion of the incident in progress, where Pinkerton told Legend to “just go,” and retrieved hired security, but was not raising his voice in any notable way, nor was he standing especially close to Legend.
Apparently, what passes for sports journalism nowadays doesn’t require much more than a lighter and some kerosene. And if you’ve been following sports media nowadays, that should come as a surprise to no one.
After England’s win in Atlanta yesterday, they advance to the Group of 16 and face Mexico…in Mexico. If you wonder if that’s a home field advantage, check this stat out:
Lots of England fans clearly have no idea the absolutely massive advantage that playing at Aztwca gives the Mexican side. Put aside for a second the sheer size of 100,000+ fans and intimidating atmosphere (thats only the minor advantage).

Yeah I’d say it is. Aside from the climate, the legation alone will make them gasp for air and have to snort oxygen. If you watched Mexico go to work on Monday, you’re aware that the elevation has zero effect on the home team. Good luck, Three Lions. Or bueno suerte, as they say.
Anyway, that got me to thinking…have you ever been to a game where there was a clear home field advantage for some reason? In my mind, I can think of a few, maybe Bryant Denny at night or LSU at night, or maybe this abomination:
Some are already calling South Carolina our trap game for 2026, mainly because whether it’s August at noon or December at night, it’s always a crisp 9000 degrees there with no discernible breeze.
So what say you? Can you think of a place where just playing at the venue makes it a tougher out?
#Lions CB Terrion Arnold has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and kidnapping in Tampa, Florida, earlier this year, and is facing multiple felony charges that carry a maximum sentence of life in prison.
Credit to Coach Saban, I’d be happy to have him in my corner and defending me in a situation like this. However, I don’t think I’d ever find myself doing anything like this:
Police say this all started after TerrionArnold and several others had property stolen from an Airbnb Arnold rented in Largo in early February. Investigators say Arnold believed some of the eventual victims were responsible, even though police later determined they were not involved in that theft. On February 3, police say Arnold and Boakai Hilton — who investigators say helped coordinate the alleged setup — directed Arianna Del Valle and Jasmine Randazzo to contact one of the victims and lure him to an apartment in Tampa. Around midnight on February 4, investigators say the victims arrived at the apartment. Once they entered a bedroom, police say Christion Williams and Lyndell Hudson — who had been hiding in a closet — jumped out, grabbed the victims, held them at gunpoint, and attacked them. Investigators say the incident was streamed to Arnold, Hilton, and Freddie Hughes while they were traveling to the apartment. Police also say there was a group chat involving the defendants, and that Arnold and Hilton gave directions through that chat while the attack was happening. About an hour later, police say Arnold arrived at the apartment with Hilton, Hughes, and another person, and that he directed them to go inside while the robbery was still going on. Investigators say property was stolen from the victims during the attack. At around 1:40 a.m., police say the victims were escorted out of the apartment by armed suspects and forced into their vehicle before leaving the scene. Police say Del Valle, Williams, and another individual then got into a vehicle driven by Arnold and left the area. The victims later reported the incident to Tampa Police and identified the suspects. After search warrants were executed and the investigation continued, detectives arrested multiple people in the case over the following weeks. Police say Arnold was the primary conspirator in the alleged robbery/kidnapping plot. He turned himself in Wednesday night and is now facing 4 counts of kidnapping and 4 counts of armed robbery.
Yeesh. Let’s hope the carpet really tied the room together.

I mean, pre-Saban was actually pretty good for Alabama, because I think they had a decent coach at one time or something. I can’t be sure, but I think he’s the reason for certain fan wear choices in Tuscaloosa…
And Saban’s first year was a 7-6 campaign. While I can agree they’ve taken a step back since Saban left, I’d argue they’ve been taking small steps down ever since Kirby left, especially on the defensive side of the ball when his recruiting depth left the program a few years afterwards.
Aside from that, if the program in Tuscaloosa is about to go down in flames, I’d buy a front row seat and some popcorn just to enjoy the fall of Rome.
I would’ve paid good money to see this as COSM in Atlanta, provided they had this view of the game from the venue.
Go Dawgs…meanwhile, here’s the matchups for the CWS:
Yes, that’s right…All-SEC on one side of the bracket. Hmm. What would it look like with a reseeded bracket:
#1 Georgia vs. #8 Troy
#2 UNC vs. #7 Oklahoma
#3 Texas vs. #6 Ole Miss
#4 Alabama vs. # 7 West Virginia
Then it would just be an All-SEC CWS, would it not?
Just imagine…also imagine if the Supers were reseeded…some different outcomes could’ve occurred:
1 Georgia vs. 16 Little Rock
2 Auburn vs. 15 Cal Poly
3 UNC vs 14 Troy
4 Texas vs. 13 St. John’s
5 Alabama vs. 12 Oklahoma
6 Oregon vs. 11 USC
7 Mississippi State vs. 10 Ole Miss
8 Kansas vs. 9 West Virginia
Well…guess what…you still would’ve only had five SEC teams in the CWS brackets…and Auburn would’ve been one of them…plus you would’ve had a B1G team in it, too.
I’m not going to pay a lot for this stacked roster!
NEW: Nick Saban detailed how much Alabama’s NIL collective spent every year for the past five years in Wednesday’s hearing about the Protect College Sports Act.
Question – how much did they spend prior to the first year or NIL?
Second question…was Nick singing the same tune when he was the highest paid coach in college football, setting off the space race for coaching salaries that we’re dealing with today?
