Kirby with Pate – spring edition

Spring Kirby is much more fun to listen to than Fall Kirby. I know some of you really don’t like Pate (I have my problems with him, too), but this is a pretty good discussion across a number of topics.

Many of you have probably watched or listened to this, but if you haven’t, it’s worth your time especially if you’re on a boring work phone call.

Refugees, discuss.

Another Monday Morning Mood Lightener – Spike Squad edition

If this doesn’t make your soul leap this morning, check your pulse.

Ms. Jean, you’re a DGD! Happy retirement to you!

There are people all over campus in Athens whose job it is to make a student’s life a little bit better when someone’s daughter or son is away from home for the first time. Thanks to all of you (same goes for the staff at Furman, too).

If there was someone on campus who was special to you or to one of your kids, give them a shout-out here. Mine was Tom Cochran … he was our fraternity advisor and my daughter loved talking to him when he would visit Arch Society meetings in retirement.

Georgia on Your Mind – Stinchcomb edition

If you have an hour to take a look, it’s worth your time to learn a little about Matt and Jon Stinchcomb. I’m honored the interviewer is my son-in-law who is getting a master’s degree from UGA in a week from the New Media Institute through the Grady School. He’s the sports information coordinator at Greater Atlanta Christian.

Needless to say, I’m proud of and for Chris. He’s a Seminole who loves the Dawgs.

Enjoy and comment.

Today in It Just Means More

This kid is a DGD whether he ever puts on a Georgia jersey or not.

G.A.T.A. I’m sure your Dad is in the crowd grinning from ear to ear while Mom is punching him to say, “He’s embarrassing me.”

Did Ron Courson Go to Cleveland?

Holy shit.

If he did, he needs to return ASAP and use his healing powers to get the 2024 ‘Dawgs healthy before this weekend.

Seriously, great to see this for one best DGDs ever. Here’s hoping he can wind up with a playoff contender and earn a ring before it’s all said and done. Way to go, Nick!
