Technically, it was at Oklahoma State, but Oregon played a close one against Boise State and just lost a game to a team that scored only ten points in its opening loss…to Tulsa.
Drew Mestermaker accounted for three TDs and 400 yards offense, with over a hundred yards of that coming on the ground.
When I watched Oregon get absolutely killed in the CFP, I walked away with the impression that Dante Moore returning wasn’t great news for Oregon. Got the same impression again yesterday. Maybe it’s time for them to turn to a new hero at QB:

This game is emblematic (or symptomatic) of the new era in CFB. A team that went 1-11, fired its coach ….pretty much flipped its entire roster in the off-season went and upset one of the higher regarded (and financed) programs in the sport. These microwave rebuilds are becoming a thing.
