Gooooooood morrrrrrrrrning Refugees! The Bulldogs opened the 2026 season with a 63-3 win over a thoroughly outmatched Tennessee State team, as they should have. It was actually, kinda nice to see the Dawgs come out in the first game and not fiddle-fart around. They got after it, got a great start and rotated in some kids that need experience. Would like to see more of the same today. Western Kentucky is a better team than we faced last week but, there should be no nail-biting moments in this one.

  3. Looking good. Much, much better and efficient than we would look against this level of competition in recent history. If I wanted to complain, I’d say Gunner doesn’t have the touch on the long ball, but I don’t want to complain. 😁

  4. We look really good against a really over matched team. That’s good. Great to see Bobo listened to us and has changed his play-calling. I like the mix.

    Now the rant…As an alumnus I HATE this white shit. Goddammit, I want to see my Red & Black with Silver Britches. F this marketing money grab shit. Ridiculous we look like the away team and they look like the home team. Tradition means nothing anymore. Murdering my love of this experience paper cut by paper cut. Must be a commie conspiracy. I’ve checked out on the NFL (thanks Jerry you bastard!) and close to putting college in the rear view mirror too. /end rant

      • Well, it worked. I couldn’t watch today and a few minutes ago clicked on a highlight clip on the ESPN app. I had to watch it twice to figure out which team was Georgia.

    • Oh…and Danztler sucks. Sounds like an auctioneer in monotone staccato voice. Damn I’m grumpy.

      • I’ve never listened to Danzler other than during the games and he sounds like a normal announcer. I haven’t heard him sound like a cow having a stroke.

        The monetization of every third word out of his mouth is really annoying, though.

        • I remember when Larry Munson had to do that during Falcons games. It was kind of morbid to hear him talk about the Piedmont Hospital Injury Timeout.

          • Makes one long for the days when it was only the Dixie Crystals Sugar scoreboard.

  5. We don’t have any glaring weaknesses at this point. Plenty of reliable ball catchers. I am 100% in favor of starting out against progressively better competition. Gives so many players a chance to play and contribute and work out bugs and jitters. Hopefully, it will help us find our touch on the long ball and keep Gunner upright. 🤭

  10. Lord do I still loathe the sound of Jeff Dantzler’s voice (my stream crapped the bed, so I went to radio for the end of the 3rd-rest of the game.

  11. Not gonna fall out with anybody about Dantzler: We can agree to disagree cause it really doesn’t matter. That control is in the hands of people with way more money and power than a majority of us! Guess it just gives me something else to bitch about! It’s all good!

  13. We looked awfully good. Yeah, could nit pick Stockton a little bit, but just the fact that he had only 1 or 2 rushes and scored 0 TD’s looks a lot like progress to me. Overall, no way not to like what I’m seeing.

      • He seems impatient (“panicked is too strong of a word)… Hopefully, as he matures the game will slow down for him and he’ll do better.

  16. I’m just gonna say this, after 2 easy games I am willing to say that maybe we might be sorta kinda iffy good, maybe.

    The D is legit and the O seems to take control. Maybe, not sure yet, probably too soon, aw hell, long way to go,

  19. Kirby was livid with Puglisi. Pug evidently tried to avoid him coming off the field one time. Kirby followed him and chewed his ass good fashion. The book is far from written on him but I believe Kirby brings a quarterback in this offseason.

    These guys are for real. I don’t care who the competition was. Do we think any other team we face would have done the same thing to out first two opponents? I don’t.

  20. Frazier looks much improved this year. He seems less hesitant after the 1st cut and hits the lanes harder IMO. My only gripe today is that Gunner took some early shots. Need to protect him. If we stay healthy, the sky could be the limit.
