The SEC tournament schedule is set.
Georgia has one of the easier pathways as the best team in the tournament – Florida, sad to say -is on the other side. Short of Ole Miss, Georgia has shown they can beat the teams in their side…question is, which team will show up for the Tourney?
Regardless, it’s been a pretty remarkable season.
Most wins in a regular season in program history. Go Dawgs!
Here we go again. Another post to provide you with an infusion of nostalgia to while away the quiet days where we don’t have college football. The game is easy and simple and, apparently, I’m not so good at hiding the clues, so let me try a little better this time.
We’re underdogs. The team we’re playing are favorites. They have what might be considered the best college football quarterback of all time, NFL career withstanding, but statistically. It’s defense versus offense in one of the biggest games on one of the biggest stages of all time.
What could I be referencing?
Mario Cristobal, ladies and gentlemen.
I see Spurrier, Fulmer, and Cristobal all in the same room together at one time.
It feels like it should be some form of a joke, but seems more like a place in hell.
Indiana player was ineligible? Say it aint so!
25 years old, starter, and major contributor to the defense. This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, right? What exactly constitutes ineligible anymore?

Outside of Jared Wilson and an injured Kenny McIntosh, there wasn’t much of a local rooting interest in last night’s game. But…
Pretty amazing journey that Macdonald took to get there, but seeing two Georgia alumni on the stage together was still pretty neat.
Many of you got it right, though I had it wrong in describing Eric Zeier as a freshman (poor memories, sorry). Here’s a little bit of a highlight reel to enlighten your Monday of the day that Kirk Herbstreit learned to hate Georgia football.

Maybe it’s a change in offensive philosophy that we’re facing, as Georgia set the precedent of the team to beat in college football.
Or maybe we’re regressing to the norm.
