I’ll give Auburn credit. It was a pitching duel all night and it played out like a game between two of the top 5 teams in the nation giving it their all. From an observation, the Dawgs looked looser and relaxed despite the close game, Auburn seemed a touch uptight. I’ll take that as a good sign for the good guys heading into the postseason play.

There was no toilet paper tossed at Toomer’s corner last night.

  1. Nice seeing the team win a pitching duel. Auburn has one of the best pitching staffs in the country.

    Team did look loose. I attribute that to having the SEC locked up.

    • What UGA Baseball has, that only a few dream of, is the belief and or confidence, that this line up will/can get to a pitching staff…may not be in the first trip through the line up, might not be the top of the line up, this group does have a bit o swagger, this might be a stretch, but these starters plus bench, may be a reflection of their HC…GO DOGS!!

  3. Watched it until the 5th and my old ass went to bed. So I checked the score this morning. We had base runners just couldn’t get the hit to bring them in. 8:00pm is too late for a start during the week.

  4. Well, they can use it, save it and hit the corner if they win. Low life P0S!!
