Rivalry Win

Here’s a great stat for your Tuesday morning.

I have two kids who’ve never seen us lose to Tennessee. To think, there was nearly a whole decade I never saw us beat Tennessee.

We are living in gilded times. Enjoy it, and make sure your kids are watching so they can tell their kids about it someday, because good things tend to come to an end.

Hopefully not anytime soon, though.

  1. Now I understand why some people are justifiably critical of the direction of the program.

Didn’t get it before. Now it all makes sense.

      • Not your job, period.

In that clip, Saban is coaching a football team.

In your thread posts you are whinging on a keyboard.

Once you figure out the difference and that no fan has a role in the process, 1) you’ll be a lot happier and 2) fewer of us will be fucking annoyed by your pointless and useless dissatisfaction.

Besides Kirby is way ahead of you:

Kirby doesn’t need your useless chime ins!

        • Your opinion doesn’t mean anything. You are also the easiest person to rile up and troll.

          Thanks.

          • The difference between us?

I know my opinion doesn’t mean anything.

I do get somewhat agitated by people who spout off total and complete nonsense.

But my intelligent posts and yours, which are far less so, add up to a warm bucket of spit.

          • We all know you think highly of yourself. You’re the highlight of the entire site here according to yourself. We also understand that any opposition to your opinions must be silenced.

While acknowledging your opinions are worthless, you freely share them along with insults that never get punished.

Of course, many of us know why and it’s because you are on a certain side of a political aisle while others on the other side were not spared.

So enjoy getting trolled and writing paragraph after paragraph that I’m sure many scroll on by.

          • Contradiction is not silencing anymore than laughing and pointing is. A contradiction is merely a competing opinion the value of which is up to the reader. Other reader’s valuations of any opinion expressed here is not something I concern myself with at all. I do not give one fuck whether I am alone or in league.

If everyone said the same thing here it would be quite boring. Similarly if no one said things that were laughably incongruent with the known universe the rest of us inhabit, my enormous talents of smartassery would largely go wasted.

So please, by all means, carry on.

        • Derek, Please calm down a tad, it is really embarrassing for you. I don’t agree with you most of the time however I am concerned for your wellbeing.

          • I’m living my best life. No need to be concerned.

However, if Bobo gets nominated for the Broyles, you might need to fetch a net for mg.

    • I wouldn’t. No more than LSU or Ole Miss.

Nemesis would be an appropriate moniker at this point, but I’ve never seen it as a rivalry. Just a team that seems to be in the way a lot.

I do know that since we beat them in Indy that they play different vs us than they do on other weeks for whatever reason. I think they fear we may steal their national relevance.

And we should. Like the Buckeyes have largely done to their regional rivals who otherwise would be more relevant nationally, but for their presence.

One thing they almost always seem to have an advantage over us in the Kirby era: qb.

      Hopefully, that will change.

  2. i love the fact that those stats are sponsored by Yellawood

  3. I tell my kids about the 90’s and early 2000’s like my grandpa used to talk about the great depression. Still, I don’t think they understand how bad it was!

    • I wish WordPress would let us like a post more than once. I’d have liked this one 20 times.

  4. Kirby is a Stetson injury and Tech cowardice away from:

    – Tennessee 9 in a row
    – Auburn 9 in a row
    – Florida 9 in a row
    – Tech 9 in a row
