The Transfer Portal Working at Georgia

So, if we think Branch was bitter about the plethora of screen passes…maybe not.

And you know something….I’m not sure I’ve ever heard Colbie Young speak. But when he does, it’s high praise for the Georgia program.

There’s the belief that receivers are only valued for their run blocking, but it seems like these two transfer are fortunate that they got developed in Athens.

At 10, this is the lowest number of Georgia football players invited to the NFL draft since COVID.

And, if we’re being honest, Georgia has 11 at the combine, as long snappah Beau Gardner showed up to the combine without an invite.

Of course, it could be that most of Tech’s talent decided to head south for a year extra of NIL with Buster Faulkner.

Talk about jumping out of the frying pan into the outhouse.

I’m not sure the extra seven million would be worth it, imho. Unless, of course, he can bring Stetson Bennett on the roster and have the prototypical Kirby Smart field general under center instead of those millionaire first round draft picks.

Besides, Kirby clearly doesn’t like NIL so I can’t see him putting up with negotiations and hold outs very well at all.
