Fun fact for the day:
Kirby really knows how to dial it up against the Longhorns, huh?
On the other hand, here’s a possibly better stat.
Yeah, we didn’t miss out on anything when Arch chose Texass.
Also:
Dang.

Every week Gunnar is looking more and more like the second coming of Stetson and that’s insanely high praise.
Love this guy.

Kirby has got TexAss’s number. These Cardiac Dawgs are quickly growing into the Killer Dawgs. Don’t believe there’s a team in the country that ‘really’ wants to play Them Dawgs right now. Man do I love me some ‘Gunner’ Stockton and Kirby Smart.

P.S. Get well soon Debby Balcer.
Gunnar is not flashy or brash enough to be in the Heisman talk.
Very humble guy.
Happy that Beck & his Lamborghini is in Miami
Did he get it back? I heard it was stolen. lmao
He makes plays. On the game’s second play, we’re behind the chains, and Gunner keeps on a perfect read option to get 20. We were off and running after that.
The throw to Delp on the seam route was a thing of beauty.
You can take one look at that picture of Gunner and know that somebody else tied that tie for him. It might even be the first time he’s worn one.
I will take the boy from Lake Rabun all day. Loves the Dawgs, humble as apple pie, solid dude, always wanted to be a Dawg.
Kirby ain’t no dummy.
What this pate guy leaves out of the conversation, is that Burnt urunge football is big fat, Fucking O-fer in that span…GO DAWGS!!
What did #4 say, one time, after a Gunner TD, “Rabun County Babeeeee”….GO DAWGS!!
I’ll be the first to admit that I had doubts about Gunner at the start of the season, but he’s gotten better as the season has gone on. I never doubted Gunner’s heart or how much his teammates love him, but we had just not been able to see enough of him in past seasons to know if he was “QB1” material. Part of my issue was that I also had doubts about Bobo as a playcaller, but he’s had a good season as well. I’m glad to be able to say that “I was wrong”. The best thing about last night’s game is that Gunner still has room to improve as there were a few plays that he made the wrong decisions (the INT and a couple of run options where he should have kept the ball or handed it to the WR on the jet sweep instead of giving it to the RB up the middle), and that should scare future opponents. I think that, right now, we DO own Texas (and Tennessee, Auburn, Florida and Tech), much like Bama has owned us since 2008 (with that 1 glorious exception on January 10, 2022). As for Arch Manning, I have nothing against him and if his receivers had not dropped so many balls last night, we might have needed those 21 4th quarter points to win.
Next week’s game should be boring, but, in 2 weeks, we will have to match Tech’s intensity as they live for that game and want to beat us more than they want to live. They obssess over us 365 days a year and are good enough to beat us this year (last year’s game should be a warning to us what happens when we are not ready to play them). I just hope that we take it to them and remind them who runs this state!
Elite athletes that are going bald while still teenagers are not to be trifled with. See one Gunner Stockton and one Brock Bowers.
“Yeah, we didn’t miss out on anything when Arch chose Texass.”
He’d be our starting QB and living up to the pre-season hype. Look at how far Gunnar has come since his 1st start. EVERY QB coached by Bobo has improved EXCEPT last year’s starter. Arch would be no different. Only one QB has transferred away from UGA on Kirby’s watch and found any success.
