Bobo was deep into the 128 count tonight.

Nice to see the defense again. Texas hasn’t rushed for more than 35 yards in any contest against Georgia yet.

  10. Special team. Keep improving. Be nice to avoid the long offensive drought, but I’m just nitpicking at this point. Gunner is special. Bobo is so glad Beck left. Go Dawgs!

  11. I had to leave at the half because of my physical situation but it worked like a charm and I was home for the entire second!!! Go Dawgs!!

    • I didn’t say a word but the fucking anti-Bobo idiots really ruined the game for me!

      • At this point, anyone who is still anti-Bobo is either blind or stubborn. The offense has looked amazing the last several weeks. Crazy coincidence that the offense’s improvement happened to occur when the O-line finally got healthy. Could that mean that Bobo was never the problem to begin with? Inquiring minds want to know.

        As for last night, sure, we bogged down in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. But Texas has a damned good defense and they were playing the game too. If we do that against Charlotte, then fine, blame Bobo. But you can’t watch us put up 35 on one of the best Ds in the country and still say Bobo sucks with a straight face.

      • Yeah 84, I had one behind me. When we went up good, I turned around and said, yeah, that damn Bobo ain’t worth a shit, “look at the score”. He didn’t say a frecking word.

    Lots of football to play, but I like the trajectory.

    • If they stay healthy the sky is the limit. They got mean tonight. Arch threw at Kirby and not five minutes later we had three dudes sandwich him.

    • Those that did show up will take home the story of you really don’t want to play Georgia at home. And any UT fan in the future that says we want Georgia probably gets shut up by his own fans.

    Gunnar feels like the second coming of Stetson more and more every week.

    Kirby is still the best coach in football.

    Assistants coaching for their jobs? Kirby lit a fire under them maybe? I dunno? I am still dubious, but love getting a little more wrong about them every week.

    • I think there was so much youth at new positions. It made for a difficult season start. This team is gelling and getting better every outing. As for Gunner there is no other QB I’d want to see lead this offense. Proving again how wrong the experts were.

      • I feel good about the fact I always liked him and always thought there was a good chance he was gonna be The Guy. 🙂

        If we get another natty or two, the talking heads will really have to stop leaving us out of the list of all time elite programs.

        • Here we are with a QB who all he wanted when he grew up was to play QB for Georgia. He’s playing that position as well or better than anyone in our league. All this story needs is a national championship ending.

          • Yes, and Gunner clearly outplayed the ho5shot who spent 2 recruiting seasons going from campus to campus to figure out which school would be best for him.
            I get it; players do that. Most on our roster do, too. Gunner, though signed when we had Bennett, Beck, Vanderwhats his name already ahead of him and Dylan Riola committed and the staff lusting after Manning. I wouldn’t blame him if he had sign somewhere else that had an clear path to being QB1. As you said, he came here because he WANTED to get a UGA degree and be on the team. He lo es this program.

  19. It was everything I hoped it would be. The crowd was incredible. The atmosphere sure has changed in ten years since Kirby has made it part of the process. The home crowd is now a weapon. The fourth and one call from our end was very intense. Total trust in bobo and his offense. Kirby hit on every roll of the dice. The onsides kick was executed perfectly. Playing to win never let your foot off the gas. Gunner just seems so smooth and capable of doing anything his team needs. He’s the perfect guy for the job. Nothing rattles him. All those young players that struggled so bad early season are becoming one darn good team. I didn’t see a total beat down coming FPD called it. The OLine just keeps getting better. As for that missing lack of QB pressure it sure ruined Arch’s plans. Sure hope CJ Allen is ok we can’t afford to lose him.

  22. The Bobo Derangement Syndrome people look so stupid right now. They won’t back off an inch because they are stupid.

    • How can you stop being stupid if you’re too stupid to know you’re being stupid?

      When the No. 1 QB in 2028 commits later today, I’ll blame Bobo, the guy recruiting him.

        • I don’t think anyone has ever disputed Bobo’s recruiting chops. Most of his haters are focused on his play calling. I have questioned him at times this year myself. I’m man enough to admit i was wrong.

          • Why I get these sorts of comments and then I have to dig into the archives and show the receipts?

            Suffice to say, one of the couch coordinators around here earlier this season said with respect to our offensive performance, words to the effect of:

            “This is why we don’t recruit top offensive talent.”

            I retorted that at the time (and now) we had secured the top qb in the country for this class.

            May or may not have been the same guy who opined that CJ Allen was bad at linebacker.

            The depth of football stupid among fans is stunning and any sarcastic smartassery I put out there will be linked to an actual take by someone(s) out there who ought to be forced to read it and know it is they who I mock.

  23. I saw some crayons for a 1/3 of the game. Monken took a long dinner break that included halftime.

    • Bobo made Gunner pull it when it should have let it go and let it go when he should have pulled it.

      Reminds me of when Bobo made Hutson pulled it and throw it to tech to lose in OT.

      The pick was a total bobo brain fart too.

      (In actual real life football terms that was just a freakish play by a freakish LB. Stockton did not think that guy could make that play. In our reality he should not have been able to. 999 of a thousand thats not a pick.)
