As much as Lawson Luckie could’ve been the big man on any campus, he’s always prioritized an even bigger role, as a big brother to Cannon. He tells @JenLada how Georgia football made his dream a reality ❤️ pic.twitter.com/PuZ0GwEtn0
Touching story if you have a minute.
DGD
Great story that gets ya.
I have to be “that guy” now, mom is hot, lol.
You’re not wrong.
Definitely a DGD
Sheds a new light on Lawson too, although it was already bright.
I watched it twice yesterday and teared up twice. I watched it with my sons the second time. We were all so thrilled when Luckie got a touchdown last night, especially after knowing the story. What we can’t figure out, and not to speculate, but dad was conspicuously missing from the feature. Is there something going on there?
One of those “not really my business” things, but knowing dad’s history with football and the school you can’t help but wonder. 🤷♂️
There is a football player looking jacked dude wearing a #7 jersey in there twice. No speaking role tho.
An earlier article says they are no longer married but he is still in their lives. The guy with #7 jersey on isn’t Mike Luckie. I’m guessing he’s the Mom’s friend.
Think it might be grandad.
Makes me realize this is just a game & not life for all.
Appreciate what we have
We all have our struggles with family, it’s those ties that bind, which make love for family a unbreakable bond.
A Luckie related clip that just showed up in my feed.

Look at that student section…
Damn.
It’s dusty on my back deck right now.
DGD.
I agree.
