Sumrall had a bad experience with Barn during their coaching search and can’t stop running pie hole about it. He’s just another SEC rookie big mouth coach. I hate Barn as much as anyone, but we can all agree that their have a great home environment for SEC night games against quality opponents, even with all of the losing. Wait until he sees how the UF fanbase reacts to losing at home.
Sumrall seems to fit the Jorts mentality hand-in-glove. As to public statements, he can’t seem to get his head and his ass wired together. He’s an Alabama guy who claims all this reverence for Pat Dye and the Bear, yet also claims he never interviewed at Auburn and didn’t want the job. Bullshit. Their offense appears explosive, but I peeked at last week’s box score and they scored TD’s on a number of third and fourth downs (including a 3rd and goal from the 20). The penalties, lack of discipline and lax D look like same ‘ole Gators to me. I’m expecting this newbie will give Kirby plenty of bulletin board material before our tilt at the Benz.
