I’m pretty sure it’s pronounced “Jerdan”-Hare in Alabama. Kirby ought to know since he lived in Alabama for about a decade.
The pronunciation of Jordan as « Jer-dunh » stays true to Irish dialect.
Somewhere down the road in the americana dialect, Jer-dunh became pronounced Jor-dan as in Michael Jordan.
I know y’all worship Kirby Smart, and rightfully so, but I haven’t given him a pass for the Mike Bobo hire. It’s been a disaster and if we don’t see drastic improvement in offensive efficiency and player development this season, then a change needs to be made. What Kirby does next will cement his legacy at UGA.
