Let all the Bulldog faithful rally behind the men who now wear the red and black with two words, two simple words which express the sentiments of the entire Bulldog Nation: Auburn Sucks.
Evening all. Here are some All Access episodes and an SEC Inside. I should be caught up now, just in time for this weekend’s SECCG broadcasts. If you haven’t watched the SEC Inside on the Texas game, give it a watch, it’s mostly focused on UGA and an enjoyable 20 or so minutes watch.
For those of you interested, here’s E$PN’s broadcast schedule for the game:
ABC: Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit with Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge
SECN: SkyCast with Natural Sound
ESPN: Field Pass: Will Compton, Taylor Lewan, Josh Pate, Harry Douglas
There will be a bevy of pre-game shows, interviews with coaches, etc. across all channels.
Afternoon all. Thanksgiving week and the after effects of the YouTube/E$PN fiasco kinda got me behind on editing and uploading game replays. Getting caught back up today. Here is the Charlotte game and the standard broadcast of the Yech game. The Command Center broadcast from Friday is uploading, I’ll drop a link to it and some other video that I’m editing down. I was never able to locate a Skycast, neither live nor on replay at E$PN+. Did any of you find one?
Good morning! Back to regularly scheduled programming! The glorious castration of the Longhorns is now preserved for your viewing pleasure at any time you like. Couldn’t find a Skycast broadcast, then I find out in comments there was one on Hulu? Missed it and neither the Hulu nor ESPN apps have a replay of the Skycast. Oh well, noted for the future.
Another bit of frustration with the E$PN/YouTubeTV kerfuffle is that they are copyright striking the game replays I’ve been uploading to YouTube since the disagreement between the 2 companies began.
I have opened an account at Rumble, who seem to be a bit more lax in their copyright restrictions. My channel at Rumble can be found HERE. Please register a new account with this link, at this time the channel is “private”, so I doubt you will be able to find my videos without subscribing. It’s private until I sus out the options at Rumble. Depending on how things go, this looks like it will become the primary home for my game replay videos.
The Florida game, both Mississippi State broadcasts and the 2 most recent Kirby Smart All Access episodes are loaded and available for viewing at Rumble now. Here are the links:
Georgia vs Florida:
Miss. State Regular Broadcast:
Miss. State Skycast:
All Access: Florida Edition:
All Access: Mississippi State Edition:
If this goes well, I will soon begin the process of uploading all of my library to Rumble. I certainly feel no loyalty to YouTube/Google based on recent events.
One of our commenters, Pope Leo, requested we have a discussion on TV, streaming, etc. I promised him I would put this up yesterday. Promises are made to be broken. So, here it is.
Myself, I’m not really searching for a change, I’m still riding with Dish Network. Of course, I have several streaming services in addition to that. Mainly because my 90-year old father shares all the subscriptions I have and he watches a lot of TV. Once the good Lord decides it is time for him to come home, I will be eliminating almost all the subscriptions I have. At this point in my life, about all I watch on TV is sports. I’m a cranky old man that just doesn’t enjoy modern TV programming anymore.
But, that aside, please provide your recommendations to others that are looking to make a switch due to the E$PN/YouTubeTV debacle.
One point I would like to touch on is syncing radio with TV in order to avoid the E$PN idiots that get assigned to our games. I have been using a SportSync radio made by Motorola. It can be delayed up to 60 seconds to sync up with the TV. It worked great when synced up with satellite or over-the-air-antenna. Syncing with a stream is much trickier. Not many people notice or even realize but streamed sports are not consistent timewise. The stream will shift ahead or behind and soon your radio is out of sync and you have to adjust through the game to stay in lock step. Plus the delay in streaming is ridiculously long as most everyone is aware.
Sadly my radio is on its last legs, they are no longer available and so I have found a replacement. I found this on eBay recently. I ordered one Saturday, I am supposed to receive it by Monday of next week, I’ll report back on how well it works. But, I’ll give a brief description of how it works. It began life as a portable radio. Some smart guy, that goes by the handle part_stasher on eBay, gutted it, and turned it into an audio delay device (it is NOT a radio). The device has 2 ports on it, one for an audio input from a radio or any other audio device that you want to delay. It does have a built-in working speaker but, the second port is an audio output that you can connect to a stereo receiver, a self-powered speaker, or heck, you can probably by a bluetooth adapter with an audio input jack and bluetooth it wherever you want. It can delay up to 160 seconds which should cover any broadcast/stream you watch.
I’m not going to get into details here on the blog but, I also recommend you look into sideloading apps on a Firestick, there are numerous tutorials online and it doesn’t require a degree in rocket surgery to understand it. I will also mention IPTV. A commenter on a Dawgs forum I read, recommended Uzzu. You can subscribe to most everything for $130 annually. They have apps for Android TV, Firestick, FireTV, Roku, TV Box, Chromecast, Xbox & Nvidia Shield. You can also subscribe for a week for $8.99. Which is probably what I am going to do just to check it out. If it works really well, I might just get an annual subscription. If not, I’m out 9 bucks.
So, have at it in the comments. What services do you use? Got any inexpensive recommendations to replace the overpriced fees that just keep going up and up for Big Streaming?
EDIT: The guy behind the Delay of Game device sent me this YouTube link that explains the device in more detail:
I edited the game down, posted it to Youtube. They’ve blocked it entirely from being seen. There’s a copyright claim on the video from 32:15 into the video all the way to the end. So, there’s no removing clips that got struck, it’s damned near the entire game. Sorry folks, can’t fight YouTube, Disney and ABC.
Here’s a site that has replays of games where you can watch if you want:
Bye week gives everyone a chance to catch up! Here are the last 3 episodes of the weekly Kirby Smart All Access coach’s show. I got behind with the Auburn episode. Then, the stinking MLB playoffs & World Series pre-empted last week’s episode and this week’s, so I had to go hunt them down on a streaming service to get a capture of them. First world problems, I guess.
The nostalgia of these take me back to childhood, when I’d seek out Vince Dooley’s coach’s show. It was usually on Sunday right before the NFL got started. I believe it was carried in this area by WALB. Apparently local FOX stations have it now. Eh, anyway, my old man rambling is done. Here are the shows for your viewing pleasure:
While the Ohio State-Texas match still has the highest viewership all season, Georgia-Tennessee came in second and the numbers above reveal that a lot of people like to watch a football game where the Red and Black are involved. As it stands, Georgia is a close second to all-season viewership, second only to Alabama. The top three most viewed teams (one of which includes Texas) are all SEC, followed by Ohio State and Michigan. Other notable “Blue Bloods” like Nebraska and USC have had less viewership than Ole Miss.

When we watched this game Saturday, we had a few friends over so, we kinda shot the breeze and watched the game and didn’t really pay attention to commercial breaks, interruptions, etc. I saw some chatter on X where Ole Miss fans were complaining that the commercial breaks interrupted the Rebels’ momentum. So, I’m thinking, yeah, blame any and everything you can for your failure…
Well, when I started editing this video down, I got annoyed by the amount of commercial breaks myself. Hell, at one point, we came out of a break, kicked off… and went right back to commercial. I’m now old and crotchety… I have grown to despise ESPN/ABC/Mickey (CBS, NBC & FOX can kiss my rear end, too), I only tune them in when live sports are on, can’t stand all their talking heads. Now they are just stuffing commercials up the wazoo into every game. Gotta pay for all those leagues you overpaid for, I guess.
Okay, rant over. Here’s Gunner Stockton’s domination of the Kiffins in living color! Commercial free! Color your world with ABC!
