It is 12:08am, Sunday, June 14, 2026 as I type this and Them Diamond Dawgs is Hell, Don’t They? What a performance by Joey Volchko. Complete game, 15 Ks, 1 unearned run. His first complete game and highest strikeout total of his college career. Couldn’t have picked a better time to do it. Dawgs can relax until Monday night when the battle of the Branches will take place as the Dawgs will face Oklahoma in the Winner’s Bracket.
The Diamond Dawgs have made this football offseason very palatable, so far. And, we also have, another Natty:
