Whoever designed this card had NO knowledge of Ga Football. Thought everybody knew 34. Oh well, l’m sure all those that saw him coming or going know “Herschel Walker the goal line stalker”.

Andy Johnson and Jimmy Poulos made me a Bulldog with that game winning drive at Tech in their sophomore year. I was a 10th grader with no real connection to UGA; my family moved to Georgia when I was 7, I was only dimly aware that I would have to go to college someplace, and really had only been paying attention to college football for a couple of years. Games on tv were a rarity then, as was cable, so one with 2 local teams on Thanksgiving was a must watch. Found myself pulling hard for UGA at the end partly because Poulos played with one of my cousins at Towers. Funny how things work out. HBTFD!
Andy is the first QB I remember as a young boy and got me hooked on UGA.
That card may be worth some $$$
Nah, entire set goes for about $20 on eBay. I don’t think it’s an “error” card if the entire set has that exact damned error.

Nope.
The late great Andy Johnson deserved better. I remember him mostly as a fine NFL back for some good Patriot teams of the 70’s that never could quite get over the hump.
For a second I didn’t know who Anderson Johnson was. Then, oh ANDY Johnson. Then, what the hell is Herschel’s picture doing there? WTF!
