Well, wish number one for the 2025 season has come true.

Maybe Kirby got Sankey to listen enough to return the favor of a brutal and vicious 2024 schedule. Now, do Ole Miss and Texas.

There’s no flex about it. We need both to be night games. If they thought their environment was hostile at night, they ain’t seen nothing yet. Especially if this season turns out to be a Revenge Tour for Smart and Co.
Also, prepare to take out a second mortgage if you’re buying tickets through third party vendors.
Additional thought, I’m not overly happy about this:

Is someone trying to swing the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry back into a competition again? Here’s your weekly reminder that Auburn sucks…as does that five game stretch starting on September 13th in Neyland.
I might just sell my fishing boat so I can buy those UGA-Bama tickets.
I’m bummed about the Auburn game because it looks like I’m going to be out of country and wanted to watch the game with the local Georgia alumni group.
The Ole Miss game was at 3:30 last year in Oxford, so I’m guessing that will be the slot. If the Texas game isn’t at night, we’ll know the scheduling fix is truly in for the Hamburgers.
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Ole Miss was afternoon.
My Auburn buddy gave me his Georgia tickets (reminder that fall weddings suck) so going at night will be interesting. Haven’t been since Sugar fell from the sky.
’02 was my first game after college. It was a friend’s first UGA game. Turned to him and said ” You know if we don’t win, you don’t get to come back”. Had him going for a second, lol.
Made ’08, ’09 and went back to Auburn for another friend’s college game in ’13. He hasn’t been to another with me. 🙂
* another friend’s first college game in 13.
The Texas game is what I came to post about. It has to be at night because Sankey already gave those asshats an off week before the UGA game and didn’t give us one as well. Although I’m glad we got one before Bama after the road game in Kneeland. Making Texas at night appropriately levels the field.
Night for Auburn is kind of nice. It will be interesting to see what ticket prices are. If you can park in Tiger Town, and take a bus to the game, you don’t have to leave at the crack of dawn and are near the highway to get back home.
I really think that Bama game is the most important game we’ve had since the last national championship game. Kirby gets Bama on the conquered list and he gets momentum to start/continue his era of dominance!
