The most famous 93

Has to be this 93 yard play…

Man, the margin between great and legendary is razor thin, and we were walking a tightrope in some of those games in 1980.

As always, it’s great to be a Georgia Bulldog…and it’s great to start your day with a reminder that Florida sucks. Go Dawgs!

  1. Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Notre Dame…..lots of close calls that all broke our way that year.

  2. Munson’s radio call starts by saying ‘third down on the 8.’.

dude, HOFer Richard Seymour was #93!

  3. The greatest play in UGA history? I’d vote yes…without it the past 40+ years probably aren’t the same. Being arguably Munson’s greatest call helps.

    • You’ll get no argument from me. It’s Munson’s greatest call by far.

  4. Whose sewer is belching out that unpleasant noise in the background? Ick!

  5. …like it was yesterday! Dad and I were just sitting there despondent and pouring a consolation drink as the play unfolded. Next thing I knew my cup and bottle were somewhere several rows down and we’re hugging every one in sight. Whataday!!
