I posted something about this on Sunday, but it’s worth a review. Here’s a look at the seasoning on the defensive side of the ball.
Granted, portal season is right around the corner, so who knows what can happen. Maybe Kirby can shop around for some defensive front help.

I mean, I heard he’s going to be in town this weekend and all.
Why would Kirby pay for a bench warmer?
This is exactly why Schumann & Kirby have not forgotten how to coach defense.
If we can keep these guys, make some great portal selections, & have another great recruiting class, 2026 will be another wonderful year.
Merry Christmas
The love of money will get you nowhere. Wait a minute, NIL says “hold my beer”
UGA has a young team and I see various posts across the web of Juniors and Senioer vs Freshman and Sophomores.
However, what I do not see is what percentage of those are transfers. You many have a higher percentage of Juniors but what percentage have been in your system for how long? Were they even in spring camp?
Hasn’t taken me long to hate the portal almost as much as I hate the gators. Am I mistaken or is it possible for a player to go to 5 schools in 5 years?
Tennessee’s current QB portaled his way from three schools between last season and this one.
A tale as old as history. We are now in the mercenary era of college football. You may upgrade your talent on paper but football like war is not played on paper. Some positions are better for the mercenary, like WR, RB or QB but I much prefer home grown talent on defense and OLine. I have nothing against Carson Beck but, do you really think he is worth 4 million to the U. The U fans don’t for sure. When you have to “buy” players to fill positions, you are admitting that your recruiting has fallen off. Now UGA faces the problem that all blue bloods are facing, our subs are better than 90% of the starters for other teams. So we are going to lose guys, so get ready to see a lot of underclassmen and second string guys take the money and run.
Wow, I just looked and Bear Alexander is at Oregon. LMAO
I guess that view from his apartment in LA wasn’t as great as he initially thought.
