Don’t know if I told this last year… We turned the TV off at halftime during last year’s UGA/Bama game and went to bed. Thoroughly disgusted, beaten, broken and unable to be trusted. Then, my buddy starts texting me…

I got out of the bed, stark-naked (not nekkid, I wasn’t up to something), ran in the living room, turned on the TV… just in time to see all the grab-assing around Ryan Williams, resulting in him scoring the winning TD. I turned it right back off and went right back to bed. Here’s to a better night tonight!

Here is Georgia Dogs dot com’s digital game day program so that you can learn the names of all the Gumps on Bama’s team, I expect all of you to have UGA’s roster committed to memory.

Oddsmakers view tonight’s game this way (lines moved a good bit this week didn’t they?):

How about it Refugees? These lines sound about right?

Well, the Dawgs face another test after successfully fending off the Vols 2 weeks ago. Need to get this Bama monkey off their backs, LFG!

This post is your open thread for comments, grab-assing and just general BS throughout the game.

Go Dawgs!

  1. We had our chances..
    We had our opportunities.
    Dammit.
Even after a horrible start..playing catch up all night.
We still could have won it.
You can’t get in the red-zone and come away empty and expect to beat elite teams.
That hurry-up fourth down play will live in infamy.
    We got out-coached.

There is some good…the Defense grew a good bit in the second half.

  2. Game over. Kirby is simply never going to beat Alabama. We need to quit hoping he might.

  3. 21 points. Way to go Bobo. Didn’t matter if you kicked to tie, then would have thrown one over our heads anyways.

    • Bobo certainly didn’t tell Tylin Taylor to drop the wide open TD pass, or Frazier to fumble in the red zone. I would’ve taken 30 points pregame, thinking our D would’ve played with a pulse for 4 quarters, and I would’ve been wrong. Let’s put that on Bobo as well, just for kicks.

  4. We fucked ourselves this game. Dropped a wide open TD pass. Opted to run Cash on 4th down instead of a sure thing FG. Failed to cover the RB coming out of the backfield for a short pass several times. And the missed tackles…

Oh well. On to next week.

  5. I started and will end my comments the same. Talent the same but one team, including coaching, executes and the other doesn’t. Every fucking time.

  6. I agree Kirby’s time management wasn’t very good and Alabama continues to be our Kryptonite. I still don’t understand a lot of Bobos play calling decisions-it truly baffles me Kirby can’t see it after all the creativity Monken had. Yes Stetson was a baller but a lot of that was because of Monken putting him in situations to succeed and I feel like bobo makes it hard on his players

  7. Against every other team, Kirby is the ice-cold assassin. Against Alabama he’s like the nerdy kid trying to ask the prom queen on a date.

  8. I hate these f***ing smug bastards, how did we ever beat them once to win NC. We can beat the shit out of Ohio State and other great teams but not these bitches.

  9. It’s amazing to see other teams with wideouts being open. It’s like a miracle if we get the ball out, the guy makes a contested catch, and holds onto it.
