Let all the Bulldog faithful rally behind the men who now wear the red and black with two words, two simple words which express the sentiments of the entire Bulldog Nation: Auburn Sucks.
Never have gotten the Corso thing. I guess you have to be a certain age (I’m 55, so older than that.) And if you don’t get the Corso thing, it makes watching him go so many years past when he should’ve retired just plain uncomfortable. Probably should’ve hung it up a decade ago, shtick has gotten really stale, certainly don’t think he’s the best person in college football, etc., but it is sad that one more “connection” to the “old days” has been cut….

Holy shit did they keep rolling this guy out LONG after he was even slightly competent.
It has been 5, maybe 10 years since he added anything coherent or worthwhile to a broadcast, and watching people pretend to respect his brain dead blatherings has been painful at best.
They need to find a better way to utilize “emeritus” type people. Either really prepare them in advance to just drop a few colorful anecdotes that are PLANNED so everyone knows they are actually relevant and make sense – and have someone READY with an instant hook/bailout when the clueless ramblings begin.
Losing Vern was way worse than losing this guy. Vern was actually still watchable and competent.
