Good morning! We’ve been counting down the days until our beloved Dawgs take the field to kickoff their 2025 NCAA Football campaign. We have 7 days left, one week! Here is card #107 in our countdown.
But, before we get there, there’s this little thing they decided to call Week 0. Is that still a thing? Or have we moved on from that already?
Whatever. We have a slate of 5 games today. I wouldn’t consider any of them marquee games but, dammit, it’s college football and I am gonna watch!
So, who’s trying to earn some extra bucks on these games? Who ya taking, who ya fading? What’s the best chance for an over? Does anyone have a valid interest in any of these games? Or, are we just gonna watch because we’ve been jonesing for football for months?

Iowa State & Kansas State, poor excuses for college football
And yet, it’s better than not college football!
Neutral enough on both programs and it has been long enough without football that the sloppy game is fun to have on.
I listened to the KState announcers on SiriusXM and was reminded yet again how bad Scott Howard is.
Both teams sucked. And I hope we never play in Ireland on week 0.
Watching the first one because I’m ready for a fix of competitive college football. After that, waiting till next weekend. Watching golf is on my agenda the rest of the day.

I have enjoyed Iowa State and Kansas State more than I expected. For those not watching, apparently when the ball is set, if a defender lays down, his team is charged a timeout. It’s one of the few times Ive felt like college football got something right lately.
