Well, this is happening:

Question: how does Chip hear this from his stakeout at Toppers? Also, notice I’m not following the schmuck. Just happened to show up on my Twix suggestions. Surprised he didn’t block me for just looking.
In addition to the frothed-up sister kissers being drunk, the Gameday crew fellating Saban all morning long, and what promises to be the loudest iteration of Dixieland Delight at the end of the third (I wonder if the Redcoats are coming?), there’s also the promise of Trump being in the audience.
Har de har har, and, no, this isn’t a political endorsement or Playpen moment. I’m politically agnostic, so don’t go there. Distractions will be abounding, and the environment around Saban Field will be insane, is all I’m saying.
Question for a slow Tuesday: what preparation for Saturday’s game do you think Kirby needs to focus on the most?
Aggressive play calling. Hammer down on each offense possession.
Not to mention the possible tropical storm hovering the SE Saturday…..
Hopefully Bobo has drilled the offense to near death and Gunner has made the defense spy and tackle him.
ESPN luring Danielson into the booth would put this game over the top and unwatchable, lol.
I’d rather listen to Danielson with his mom in the booth than Herbie blathering on. I guess the mute button will be handy.
I think I saw more missed tackles in the UK game than all of last year.
Dang armydawg, when I hit comments and saw your reply, I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking MISSED blocking assignments and tackling. So you must have seen the same thing I saw in the Kentucky game.
Man, they must be playing it really loud for Chip to hear it while checking the blotter at the ACCPD.
He was in the parking lot checking registrations.
They have to work in keeping Milroe contained in the pocket, pressuring him and making sure the don’t miss tackling him.
Contain, contain, contain, seriously believe CKS wants/needs to keep the bammer qb close to the line o scrimmage, unless the bammer hc has really been vanilla in play calling, they’ll come out and test the UGA football D-Line with some mid-range passing…GO DAWGS!!
If i recall, we sat back and spied millroe in sec champ. i think you pressure him as he is a subpar passer and he is an excellent passer of the deep ball when he has a clean pocket. getting around proctor will be key to disrupting their passing game. need mykel back and hungry.
I believe we did, at times with both a left and right side spy. Last year forcing him to throw was a good thing…dude’s not accurate. But with growing maturity, we can’t let him have time in the pocket either. The front 4 have got to wreck havoc. By now, Kirby should know that playing contain on a Bama QB does not work…gotta come with the pressure!
I remember seeing our two spies hanging back at the line of scrimmage while Millroe waited for somebody to get open. I’d rather see 2 spies hunting him. Come with the pressure and be relentless.
Both lines of scrimmage. Avoid slow start. Throw more. In two words– be aggressive.
I don’t know how you prepare for Milroe and his running around so I almost think you don’t other than stressing contain. More than anything focus on kicking their ass up front on both sides of the ball. Earnest Green can’t have another game like he had against Kentucky if we are gonna win. If he doesn’t have a good game I think we see Monroe Freeling at left tackle this game.
The line about Towers hearing it from Toppers made me laugh. Calling him a schmuk was a nice touch too.
