Here’s your QBR stat of the year:
Sherrone should write a thank you letter to Kirby for the Manball pro-tip. In other news, and to no one’s surprise:
Hawkins electrified Oklahoma’s offense once inserted, though by that point Tennessee’s defense had begun a vigorous game of cribbage in their secondary and only the front seven noticed that Oklahoma was still attempting play football, so there’s that. Since Auburn turns the ball over like they’re flipping burgers for their future vocation, it should work out for the Sooners. At least for this week. Look for at least four interceptions thrown by Auburn, and let’s hope they keep that mojo working for Georgia one week later.
Do what you do best. Makes sense. Sometimes the simple solution is the best solution.
Oklahoma is going to have a rough first couple of years in the SEC. I think that Texas will too, but it is not as apparent yet what those teams traded in terms of guaranteed wins for money.
As terrible as Auburn is I believe that they will likely beat Oklahoma this week by 10 or more points unless the backup QB is a lot better than Arnold.
