Dang, Kirby is sounding like a bitter wife. Not that that is anything new.
Handle business is Arkansas and again a week later against Oklahoma, and maybe the chatter gets turned down some. Not that I’ll expect it to be, especially since we have a five week stretch where we play Oklahoma, Alabama, and Auburn.

I wish we had Khalil for 4 years rather than 1 or possibly 2. Young man has embraced the Georgia mentality. Of course, he has seen it from multiple angles up close and personal from North Oconee HS to across the field at MBS at Clemson.

We have some things to work on, but I’m pleased with the progress.” When he was very critical Saturday after a dominant performance, he’s like “that’s the standard, but we aren’t playing to it through the depth chart.”

This a thousand times. You nailed it. Kirby does know he has something and I believe that is why the recruiting may have been a little off this season. I think he knows he may have something for the next two years myself.

Can we say CKS is navigating the current edition of cfb waters, 10 years on as an sec HC, has built a bigger trophy case, added a few titles, a couple of playoff loses and CKS ain’t happy, he has reset the standard, he’ll tell the truth, as he sees/feels it, UGA football has quite a few “Buy in’s” that will say just that, UGA football will always be in the hunt for talent/elite talent, peeps will alway$ $eek the quick ca$h, then transfer, CKS can and will adjust…UGA football has a standard, that’s it….GO DAWGS!!

I’m not saying anything. I’ve said in both first looks (even today) and previews, I believe these were not teams who were good at all. I’m saying Kirby’s tone is definitely different than the last 3 years after games against overmatched opponents.
Even you as a guy who likes to have something at stake has to admit it’s pretty damn amazing that we have hit the over by ourselves in the first 2 games of the year.
Arkie match up is going to expose UGA football’s identity, not just in the game plan, but what we should be week in, week out, if, at the end of the game, the final stats follow the last two weeks, UGA football should hang a 50 spot, 500 yards of total offense, 150/175 yards of total defense, maybe 3 maybe 10 points allowed, 2nd teamers in by the 4th quarter, still running the offensive game plan, stadium full of UGA football fans, a few arkie fans still about….GO DAWGS!!
Agree. We discussed on here the last two seasons Kirby knew he had deficiencies especially on defense and the OL. Totally different demeanor than now. He’s locked and loaded, has the pieces in place and just needs to keep their focus. The window to make this all work is closing fast and can see Kirby walking away when the walls come crashing down if not fixed.
