This an interesting word salad from a marked man.

It’s odd to me how quickly one can reference a team they were with less than a calendar year ago as “them”.
Safety issues are a reality for Lane as he stands ready to return to Oxford. That’s certain, but it’s also interesting how he’s already pivoting to say the game is on the players and not on the focus on him. It’s a hell of a motivator, and Lane should recognize that.
But, hey, it’s easier to pre-emptively throw your team under the bus early, right Joey?
He really was the perfect fit for Tennessee, we just never knew it.
Gosh, what a thoughtful, well considered comment.
I’m thinking Ole Miss needs to pelt him with Andouille sausage, boudin and etoufee since he’s now a Cajun. Maybe a little Louisiana hot sauce. A live crawled or 2 would be fun.
Remember when they threw oranges at Arkansas and drooling Lou quipped: “I’m glad we’re not going to the Gator Bowl”.
The Nerds of NATS are the standard for trashy behavior.
They threw fish at the ND coach and bench at BDS in ’67..a trashy tradition that continued until 2015.
They still brag about it to this day.
Also notable is the Nerds throwing glass bottles at the Alabama team and Bear Bryant as they left the field in ’62.
When The Tide returned to Grant Field in ’64, the Bear wore a helmet.
So this crap ain’t new.
The Nerds are keeping company with other ignorant fan-bases like Tennessee’s Junior and Lulu and the spoiled crybabies in Austin, Tx.
I hope Ole’Ms fans don’t stoop so low.
When you throw a golf ball or a bottle..that’s intent to cause bodily harm to another human being. And some of those missiles don’t even make it to the field and hit other fans in their seats.
We may slough it off as “bad behavior” but it’s really dangerous behavior.
Leave with no class, don’t expect a classy reunion. He could have so easily handled the move better but specifically chose not to. That said, it’s Kiffen. What did you ever expect OM and why let it bother you? This was always going to happen. Move on it’s just bidness.
