That photo does make a good point, but at least those players didn’t leave during the season…with a playoff run and a shot at the National Title on the line.

Anyone else notice that whenever they call out a player’s name during a game it is usually followed by “a transfer from XYX.”
I have. I also wonder if they will stop having NFL players introduce themselves and identify their “school” on Sunday Night games. If not, it might take more time for some players to list their college teams.
Which makes what Kirby has done that much more remarkable. There are only a very few wearing the Red and Black (or sometimes all white) that the broadcast team has to do a long history on. This last round Kirby only took 9 (15 departed). I think that was the lowest in the SEC and one of the lowest in the FBS. Contrast that with LSU where the Kiffin Kancer took in 42, Ole Miss 29, Texas 22, Florida 27, Alabama 17, Florida 27, and Auburn 40. Even “An” Ohio State took 17.
I hate it. If I were a coach, I would ask the broadcast people not to do that for my players.
Is that the same Perkins from LSU?
