Your Yearly Reminder: It’s Auburn Hate Week

Early Cuyler, take it away.

Let’s look at how Auburn’s been doing this year under new management:

Currently 3-2 with losses to Florida and Tennessee

31st in ESPN’s FPI rankings, which is good for 14th in the SEC.

33rd in SP+ rankings, with the 63rd ranked offense and 17th ranked defense (for comparison, Alabama is 16th in defense but was 5th offensively).

Lost by two scores to the one team that is balanced with a decent offense and defense (Tennessee)

Beat Vandy 21-15.

I don’t have any stats on made up National Championships claimed this season, though I suspect there’s more memory six coming before season’s end.

Lock in, GTP Refugees. Let’s not this past weekend’s big win overshadow just how much Auburn sucks.

  1. My granddaddy taught me to never overlook Auburn. Watched Herschel defeat Bo Jackson when I was 11 my friend’s dad was a punt returner from Auburn, kinda famous. I was kind of a shit head that day.

  2. This game is my super bowl. I grew up in west central Georgia and heard WDE all my formative years. I’m certain that is why I love UGA so much. I watched Brad Johnson beat them almost single handedly at the first game I ever went to. It was in Auburn and I’ve bled red and black since then. Just beat these mother fuckers!
