Congratulations, and well-deserved.

I guess when you’re the only catcher in NCAA history to record 30 stolen bases and 30 homeruns in a season, you’re kinda special, huh?

For those keeping score, that’s Wes’s second Golden Spikes winner in three years. And Wes has only been with the program for three years.

  5. I live near Tallahassee FL. Many of my friends are fsu fans (Bless their hearts) and when talking to them their ubiquitous response is that he is no buster posey. These people in their fandom are insufferable. When Dan goes to the pro’s only time will tell but as far as college is concerned I told them that buster is no Dan Jackson.

    • Would not want to be Buster Posey now. He has all he can handle in San Francisco. That boy is a long long way from Lee County GA. You mess with all that, you are gonna get burned. Really hate it for him, but
