Your Daily Dawg P*rn – The Last Time We Won There

Here’s hoping that we can see this joy on Saban Field come September 28th. Here’s your 25 yard score of the day.

It doesn’t erase away 2nd and 26, but it would do us a lot of good if we broke the curse again in Tuscaloosa. Don’t want to give Kalen or any of the Tide faithful any momentum whatsoever for 2024, so let’s go take care of business, shall we?

Go Dawgs!

  1. Kirby seemed somewhat tentative in really go after Bama with Saban there. Was it respect or something else, but it looked like a different game plan against them. Would like to see the Dawgs be relentless on offense and defense, and give their new HC a proper welcome to the SEC. Turn them Dawgs loose, let them off the chain, and attack, attack, attack, especially on defense.

    HBTFD

  2. That’s one of those remember where you were when it happened moments. Just beat them. I don’t care what it looks like.

  3. I’ll feel a lot better when I know wherever our explosiveness is going to come from. We have struggled with them in large part because we haven’t been able to create mismatches with our qb/wr combos. I know we have the qb. WR is a bit of a ? until we see it. Replacing ladd and brock ain’t going to be easy. Of course, who and what they will be trying to be is also a mystery.

    • There exists no way to replace those stats, UGA football O.C. will put players in a position to succeed, what is sad, should UGA football put a absolute pasting on the bammers or win by 1 point, the narrative will be, this never happens if satan was on the sideline…that alabamia shadow will be on UGA football accomplishments for a few years….GO DAWGS!!

      • Don’t listen to those who create narratives. I don’t. You’ll feel much better. And they don’t fucking matter anyway.
Would you feel any better if kirk herbstreit were praising us? I wouldn’t. If they can’t improve our moods, why let them diminish our moods? Treat them the way they deserve: as irrelevancies.

      • and that Saban aura that still looms over Bryant-Denny is the very reason Kirby must have the “crush your enemies. See dem driven before you” type no mercy.
        He has to break DeBoer.

  4. Ironic both team beat each other in OT on long passes. I was there for the man enough game. Hottest game I’ve ever been to, even worse than Columbia at 3:30.

    • Without question that was the hottest feeling game I’ve ever attended. Felt worse than ASU in Tempe. I guzzled two bottles of water walking toward the stadium. Told my buddy let’s get several cold drinks each when we got inside. Best move of the day for us. They were out of ice well before halftime. Was a glorious finish to see our first win in Tuscaloosa.

      • I dunno, Scuba, that 2003(I think) game at Clemson was really bad. My copilot had to go to first aid to cool down. They gave out of ice at TN in 1980.

        • 2003 Clemson was miserably hot and muggy totally agree. There was a slight breeze where my Sherpa guide required seats were located. There was plenty of room to dangle my keys as their crowd filed out. In Tuscaloosa we were packed tightly in the end zone. No air moving other than a BB field goal. Location location

  5. My lasting memory from this game was the cups raining down on the Dawgs as they celebrated in the end zone. That and nearly giving my wife a heart attack when I ran into the bedroom to tell her they won.

  6. Oh, by the way, here is to one of the greatest non sequiturs in the history of sports that happened right before Georgia’s OT possession.

  7. I’m ready to see Beck tossing a few of those Stafford-esque passes in Tuscaloosa. More than a few would also be acceptable.
