The request we received about the Redcoat Band fundraiser, inquired as to whether we at the blog would like to pool a donation together and give it to the band in remembrance of the Senator. Unfortunately, we don’t have a way of handling/accepting donations and as we discussed, we’re just not set up for that and there’s way too much of a chance of something going wrong and someone getting left out or screwed. So we decided not to try handling donations but, we did want encourage support for the Redcoats so, we’re running reminders for a bit. The idea was good and appreciated but, we just aren’t in position to manage something like that. That said, give til it hurts!

In yesterday’s post ‘Mich Again, mykiesee and mwodieseldawg alluded to the texts between Michigan coaches, I’m assuming they were between Sherrone Moore and Connor Stallions. Can anyone provide a link? Looked pretty hard, but no cigar. Would really like to read that exchange. Thanks in advance.

Those were floating around on Twitter but readers added context that they were parody, not real. I thought they were real based on the banter in the comments of the Tweets, but it was later debunked.

my understanding is that the ncaa did get the texts…assume if there was something to them that they would have leaked some info also.
hard to imagine any kind of smu type death penalty…show cause on Moore may be the toughest sentencing…assume Michigan will lawyer up UNC style and everyone will give stern comments about how everyone learned something from this and will grow from it. too much $$$$$$$.
why do you think they went so quick to allow for helmet comms. that is the only real change to come out of this sleezy, yankee football affair.
