Fortunately, Murray has enough cognitive capacity left after his game on the Plains to make jokes about it.
FTMFs. And they still revel in the Reggie Brown concussion to this day.

The day I quit calling this a friendly rivalry – I like drivin’ in my truck.
Josh Murray had every right to go after Fairley after the last hit on his younger brother.
This. I live around too many of them who still defend that bullshit and insist this was just “clear hard hitting football” and that Cam did not get paid.
I grew up in an Auburn family and was an Auburn fan until I applied to home state UGA in 1971. After that point until November 2010 I wanted Auburn to win against everyone else unless an Auburn win hurt Georgia. I was at that 2010 game and the way their fans acted changed my feeling to hate. Those damn fans would have given Troopr Taylor and his darn towel a standing ovation if Taylor had walked into the Georgia huddle had shot Murray to death. To hell with the entire State of Alabama.
Gaskilldawg.
FTMF…I hope they never find success in anything ever again.

FTMF
Auburn folks are like the slithering pieces of shit that come out of their trailers to stand around a car accident and take pictures of the gore. They can only revel in the grotesque of life, since their actual existence is only comparable to one of Dante’s levels of hell. FTMFs and the mother they rode in on.
Totally agree this date in history marked the end of any “friendly” rivalry. Only thing missing from that is Trooper Taylor waving his damn towel in celebration of that cheap shit.
Bad way to start the day having to watch that again. Where’s my tums
I hate Auburn for making it difficult to figure out if I hate them more than Florida. It’s a puzzle that can’t be solved. And even when you think you have the correct answer, someone mentions Tennessee putting you right back at the drawing board.
This is how I categorize them. After enduring the reign of terror with Spurrier in the 90’s, Florida is the team I want to beat the most. Mostly because it’s still such an unfamiliar feeling.
After the game in 2010, Auburn ascended to the team/program that I hold utter contempt for. They’ve always been scumbags(Tater Tot, Tubberville, Lowder etc.) but they’ve since doubled down on that with the hiring of Bruce Pearl and the whole attempt to get out of Harsin’s buyout by starting a bunch of rumors about an affair. Those two things are bad enough. But they pull the ultimate dirt bag move by hiring a snake oil selling, tv evangelist and over all creep named Hugh Freeze. Any bad thing that happens to that program is deserved and should be celebrated.
One hundred percent. You expressed my feelings exactly.
Thought we were going to have to fight our way out of the upper deck that night, place was as bonkers as anywhere has ever been….
Auburn and Clemson were the first teams that I can remember hating as my UGA fandom started in 1980 (I was 10 and everyone was talking about The Dawgs and Herschel Walker) and Auburn was “the team” that gave us the most trouble as they won 15 out of 23 from 1983-2005. I didn’t hate Florida that much until 1990 and Tennessee until 1992 or even Alabama, since we hardly ever played them, so my hatred was squarely on Auburn for a long time.
