Or, in some cases, strive to honor, never.
Never was there a more poignant stringing together of words equating to utter bullshit than what is written here. If you want the shorter version, let me give it to you:
“We ran a risk on an investment, and saw that the futures looked dim, so we’re dumping it, but making it look profitable to any who should choose to pick it up. Go Matadors”.

What an utter abomination and shitshow. The days where the NCAA would make death penalties and kill a career for a minor infraction has given way to media rights regulatory control, and that’s all this is. Texas Tech saw the risk wasn’t worth the reward, and the risk was being excluded from the media empire that is college football.
Oh, and Texas Tech is not pursuing the return of Sorsby’s $5 million dollar contract. At least, not yet.
So much for a kid’s mental health and wellness, if anyone believed that in the first place, anyway.
Cody Campbell should learn to be quiet.
Josh Pate is still saying that he thinks Texas Tech has the best roster in the Big 12 (isn’t that like being the largest jumbo shrimp?).
Texas Tech takes college sports to the brink of the abyss over a guy they now say they took a flier on.
Sorsby gets paid to go away and take his chances on the supplemental draft or as an UDFA … good luck with that. I don’t think your attorneys are going to be able to force a team to draft or sign you given your baggage.
The Red Raider fan base looks like what they are … a little brother complex that makes the Nerds of North Avenue and the Aggie Cult think, “At least we’re not them.” They are so desperate to be at the big kids table. Their geniuses are posting stupid $#!+ like this:

Will Sorsby make a bet on how much longer Campbell will remain chairman of the board?
Even Bobby Lowder would say: “Damn, brother. I don’t believe I’d a told that…”
You can make a lot of wagers with $5 million. Of course, Sorsby has been through rehab so he’s probably cured.
TT can fully expect to suffer a few FU touchdowns should someone on their weakass schedule get them down big.
