Considering we lost one game by three points, and that many of the predictors were determine Texas as the new king of the SEC, Stockton couldn’t win games, Kirby can’t beat Alabama, Mike Bobo is a hindrance, yadda yadda…what a year it turned out to be. And the accolades are coming:
And…Bobo is one of the finalists for the Broyles Award…
And Georgia landed eleven on the All-SEC team:
And to think, we have so much youth. Here’s a breakdown of who made what level of the teams:

I’d beg to differ for Woodring and Thorson, but to be fair, Oklahoma had to use their special teams a good bit more than Georgia did from the offensive side of the ball.
Okay, I’m ready to say it, Kirby is the GOAT! How lucky we are to have him.
Agree on Woodring, but thought Thorpedo was off a little this year compared to his previous seasons. I’m guessing since we are so stacked at TE they took votes away from each other with none from Georgia making the lists.
I’m laughing so hard at the Bobo Derangement Syndrome people right now. They hate this. I mean they hate it bad. They would rather Georgia lose than for them to be wrong. How does it feel, girls? Bobo is a finalist for the Broyles Award. How does it feel to have it force fed to you how stupid you are? I for one would love to hear from you.🤣
LOL, they’ll take all the credit. “We””made””him””prove””it”! Then they’ll screech and ree the very next play call. Just like they did with Lil Stet.
Yep. On another site a guy called them out and said, “So for all of y’all’s screaming about how Bobo sucks we win another SEC title, go 12-1, and are the team everybody is worried about.” You know what they said? They said if we had a better offensive coordinator we would be 13-0. Im serious.
I was told that Bobo has “never won anything” and since he’s sitting on back to back SEC championships, I can only guess “anything” means a national championship.
Which means we’ve only ever had 3 OCs that met their criteria. Somehow, Monken was able to overcome having Bobo on staff in 2022.
Absolutely Mike. I sat in the deer stand Sunday morning after the tech game reading all the poor mouthing & couldn’t get over all the vitriol. Let the man do his damn job. Dig into some of his schemes & logic before you cast judgment on something you know very little of as an armchair quarterback. CKS would not have CMB on staff if he sucked. I’d like to call out some of the mealy-mouthed SOBs, but that won’t do any good. You know who you are. Go Dawgs!!
I have disagreed with Bobo on occasion. Never hated him. And anyone that thinks I would rather the Dawgs loose than be wrong is an idiot.
Missouri with 4 first teamers. They must have won the SEC with all them studs. Did they win the SEC? Hell no! Who picks these teams? lawd goodness.
Will never want or need to know whut’s happening at that moment in time between CKS’s ears, when a FU or other sec grad is attempting to pry an answer from CKS, after a UGA football “W”, how or when he is going to change the questions answer or steer the answer towards UGA football, fans then gives them a “GO DAWGS!!” to end the conversation….gotta’ love a “UGA” alum directing the narrative…GO DAWGS!!
Almost every player named 2nd or 3rd team could come back next year.
To the SEC, if you were going to get us, it had to be this year. We got talent returning and young pups who grew up this year.
To Peter Burns at the SEC Network, does the SEC still run through Austin?
On the QB selection, I’ll take our 3rd team guy over either of the other 2 every damn day for his play, his mentality and his leadership.
apparently it does run through Austin – and Tuscalosera, and Knoxville, and Jacksonville. It runs through wherever the heyell the Dawgs feel like running…
#GoDawgs
The All SEC selections are total bullshit.
Enough said
That’s right. Isn’t the SEC supposed to run through Austin? What happened? One would think these talking heads are unaccountable dumb shits or something.
Burns did take his medicine after the Texas game in Athens.
That dumbass Colin Cowherd’s hot take on how Texas was going to take over and how this was going to be a new SEC because Austin isnt a typical SEC college town and it’s so much more refined and “major companies are headquartered in Austin, the rest of you have the local car dealership.” blah blah, typical west coaster/yankee myopia. I would love to see somebody play that clip for him and ask him why anybody should listen to anything he says. Texas doesn’t belong innthe SEC and like Texas Cowherd doesn’t understand the SEC or the South. And Austin Texas is overrated as hell.
Cowpatty is the dumbest talking head in sports. When that population includes Pat McAfee, that’s saying something.
I’m wondering if David Pollock’s remarks were based on the results of Pat Dye’s famous statement that the Dawgs weren’t “man enough” to beat Alabama.
Has anyone heard if David has issued a mea culpa?
Branch made both second and third teams? That’s a neat trick.
Should’ve been 1st team, without a doubt.
I saw that, too… wondered how that works. And what does the “AP” position mean on the team?
I think “all-purpose” (the equivalent of W/R/T in fantasy football). In Branch’s case, it’s really an award for being the slipperiest.
Thanks!
SEC Champions did it with only one first teamer? People scoff when Kirby keeps claiming we are doubted? Please Br’er Rabbitt…keep throwing us into the woods. We be chopping it.
Not only that, but our lone first team inclusion is the… (checks notes)… long snappah!?!?!?!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The rest of the SEC is SO SCREWED for the next several years.
My mouse must be broken. I kept scrolling down but never saw Arch’s name…
nice catch!
Post of the day!
I WAS TOLD THAT TEXAS WAS BACK.
