Daley, if you can recall, is the one who hurt his leg while celebrating the Hoosier B1G Championship win and rendered himself out for the CFP. Indiana won it all anyway, but he watched it from the sideline.
Looks like he’ll have a chance to run it back, and even if he’s out of game shape, he won’t have to worry about playing until sometime in late October, anyway.

Of all the issues with college football this one doesn’t bother me at all. I don’t get mad when I see a kid who isn’t good enough for the NFL get a 7th year or some crazy number. Fans who are worried about non-NFL caliber players probably root for teams that have no shot to win anything.
