I wouldn’t prefer Arch after I found out he sucked.
I was relieved when he didn’t commit to us. Not because I thought he’d be bad, but I assumed he would bring the Manning Circus with him and it would be a distraction.
I was wrong about the Manning Circus. But Texa$ got the Sports Media circus instead, and all the clamoring about Arch needing to play last year because he was the greatest QB to ever put on pads has done them no favors. I actually feel bad for the kid. He’ll never live up to the expectations.
I can’t feel sorry for anyone getting paid millions of dollars. He lost the “they are only kids and student athletes” card when the NIL pay rolls skyrocketed. I don’t have a problem with them getting paid, they should have come up with a plan for it years ago. But you take the money, you take the heat that comes with it.
Arch who? Gunner’s my man.
