On This Week’s Episode of M.A.S.H.

Looks like an indefinite loss to the secondary as we enter this weekend’s contest against a team where we’re going to need a healthy secondary.

More details:

What’s with the leg injuries in Athens?

    • Kirby has a friend who likes to come out to the practice field and kick players in the lower legs and Kirby won’t stop him!

      First bobo and now this!!

  1. I asked a while back why we have so many ankle and foot injuries. Somebody said it has to be something about the cleats our guys are wearing. That definitely makes sense. I don’t know why we wouldn’t make a change. It has gone way past ridiculous.

    • Do other Nike schools have this issue? If so, there may be a point. If not, it’s just terrible injury luck.

I tend to go Occam’s razor on this. Phil Knight hasn’t made a mint by making footwear that may be the reason behind lower extremity injuries. Therefore, it’s just luck.

  2. Injuries are a part of football. Injuries just about decide nfl games. Welcome to nfl lite.

  3. These injuries suck, but you won’t find us using them as an excuse if we lose. That’s what sets this fanbase apart from the Gumps and Bucknuts.

  4. Bummed for Kyron. At a position where he’s the only one undergoing a position change and he’s pulled ahead of others who have played DB for many years, I was excited for his development. I think this is a bigger problem for the Dawgs than we think. As we know, injuries at positions of weak depth can leave holes for good OCs to exploit. Watch out for their TE, Schumann.

  5. When you practice a team as hard as Kirby practices UGA you are going to have “fatigue” issues. Legs and ankles are going to be a big part of this.

  6. Seems like there was a article in the past year or two about cleats and BBball shoes. The newer “lighter, cooler looking” designs don’t hold up to the size speed and stress the modern day athletes put on them. Or maybe I dreamed that.

It wouldn’t break my heart if we ditched Nike. I woon’t go inito why because this isn’t the Playpen.
