Came across this on Instagram…
Personally, I’d add a few plays that aren’t on here:
-Brock Bowers Matrix play to get a first down against Ohio State.
Kirby’s timeout against Ohio Staye that saved us from a fake punt.
Roquan Smith stopping an Oklahoma offensive player from getting a first down.
Chris Smith’s pick 6 against Clemson.
Podlesny’s game winner against Cincinnati,
What’s your thought? What great play is missing?
The AD Mitchell TD was the most inspiring out of the blue thing. Stetson letting it fly on a free play.
In the Rose Bowl I usually dial the replay up to Nick Chubb’s 50 yarder early in the second half. That’s when I knew we were back in it. “HE’S NOT DOWN YET”.
Yep. It was obvious then that nobody on OU wanted to try and tackle Chubb, hoping someone else would do it. Lot of “business decisions” on that play.
I believe the AD Mitchell play was the most important play of the Kirby Smart era at UGA. I know Ringo’s pick six is what people remember. But I think that TD throw was Georgia finally doing to Bama what they’d done to us for so long.
Mo Smith pick 6 vs the Barn in 2016. It seemed to announce, “we’re still UGA and we’re still going to kick your ass around the block”.
Was the Tenn goal line punt on the list? Should be.
Brock’s matrix catch off the helmet against florida
Chris Smith blocked fg run back in sec champ
Malaki 1st interception against the ducks
Every goal line jumbo package play
Jalen Carter holding up LsU’s Jayden Daniels like a rag doll
Stetson scramble td pass to honky mconcky against the ducks
Stetson qb draw td against auburn
Stetson scramble TD against the Vols and giving the « call me bitchez » hand phone signal…which imo was uncalled targeting by the vol defender
Brock’s first game against Tech where he split the safeties untouched for a 70+yd td catch
There have been several references to plays by Brock as Matrix plays. Maybe we should just call him Neo from now on; there is no other.
Chubb run against UNC… no one was stopping that man on his mission
Chubb pounded that UNC in an old school game to wear the defense down. Herrien came in for some big runs after Chubb tenederized that UNC D.
Good to see Chubb get the big TD late. He deserved it. Game did set a tone for what was to come.
Trae Crowder’s catch of the squib kick in the Rose Bowl that led to the field goal that propelled UGA to a win!!

Tyler Simmons punt block was a terrific call. Can’t help it if the refs sucked.
As we scour for top plays, lets ask CKS for his top play list, guarantee it won’t be ten plays and to top it off, his expression to that request could be golden…GO DAWGS!!
The LSU blocked field goal, TD return was an iconic moment and a moment that showed a well coached team that understood the situation.
FR Malaki Starks running down the Mizzou RB at the goal line to save a TD and keep the score close. He learned early that you never quit on a play.

Bullard hit on Harrison, Jr. to stop the Ohio State drive and give us a chance to come back is probably the biggest play of that season next to Bowers’ Houdini first down play. I know it can be said about a lot of plays in every close game, but if either of those plays don’t happen, not only because of what each play meant at the time but also because of the momentum and exuberance they created going forward, Dawgs aren’t national champs that year.
DeAndre Swift’s long TD against Aubun to seal the 2017 SECCG game.
