Let all the Bulldog faithful rally behind the men who now wear the red and black with two words, two simple words which express the sentiments of the entire Bulldog Nation: Auburn Sucks.

I have no idea if that report it accurate. I do have an idea that Schumann would be a massive disappointment to the MFers. They want an offensive guy; it’s their identity. Florida’s only former defensive assistant head coaches in the past 75 years have been Charlie Pell, Ron Zook and Will Muschamp. Their collective heads would explode

From your lips to Gainesville. Is there somewhere to donate.
To be fair after the improvements in the WR room this season and he is a good recruiter. I’m slowly changing my opinion not that it matters. I am without fail convinced he was to the OC position what Kevin Ramsay was to the DC job. The worst in my lifetime. He made Shotty look competent.
After enjoying the FU dumpster fire message boards the last few years. I don’t believe Scott Strickland could sell that even if Glen took the job for free. The mob demands offensive genius. I’ll admit his name came up last year often. Always followed by no more Georgia coaches.

It’s believable from the standpoint that Brent Key and Lane Kiffin are the most talked about targets for 3 big time openings in college football and who knows if either would actually leave their current schools. The next alternative will be top program assistants. Schumann has been around for several years so with all the openings that may become available, he’ll probably become a candidate.

Being a candidate and being key or kiffin are two different conversations, you know the hogtown peeps want a big name, FU ad probably needs a better than a candidate hire to keep from dismissal status, ya just don’t smell that “gotta’ have that hc” on the horizon, soooooo, retread hire looks safe….#FTMF!!

I don’t think the Laner is goung anywhere. Lest we forget, he is the son in law of the Dark Lord; Saban will tell him to pass on both LSU and FU. ( I read it on the internet last night so it must be true)

FU fans see Brent Key as a possible 3rd choice. Like Clark Lea at Vandy. Brent Key has yet to win without a superstar leader QB. I doubt Lea or Key maintain their current level of success with a new QB. Ask Jimbo Fischer or Mike Norvell those once in a career guys are had to find.
Now Pavia’s latest lawsuit might get him a year 7. Of course he denies that’s the reason behind the suit.

I think that Key and Lea are both fantastic coaches. What Key did to turn the Collins dumpster fire around is, if we’re being honest, remarkable. And Lea having Vandy, of all schools, in the AP top 10 at the start of November is equally impressive. But I tend to agree with you that if I were an AD I would be cautious with those two. Again, I think that both have done amazing jobs. Georgia Tech is playing with a Georgia-esque physicality and toughness and Vandy is doing the same. But sooooo much of those schools’ success rests on the health of King and Pavia. It is hard for me to imagine either school remaining in the top 10 if their superman QB went down for an extended period of time.

Sounds like a couple of bloggers who need clicks had a Zoom call and traded their speculations so they could both claim “sources”.
Schumann isn’t a proven commodity yet. The trend of his/our defenses has been slowly downward since Dan Lanning left.

Distractive propaganda before the WLOCP. The hogtowns last resort before they step into their own stench. Don’t fall for it Dawgs.

By the way, the AJC sports page just this morning had an article about Schumann’s head coaching prospects are not as hot as last year’s.

Florida could and would say they stole him from Kirby.

Agent Schumann?

It’s SI.com a very dubious source to say the least.

So true. How the mighty have fallen. I used to really enjoy reading their long-form stories in their magazine years ago. I still go back and read their online archive on occasion.

If it means Kirby makes the call to Boom for help. Followed by if you need me I’m there buddy. I would be very ok with that trade. Boom knows to teach tackling and GATA.
Maybe somewhere deep in the depths of the death star Kirby has spoken. Glen it’s time to follow in the footsteps of agent Muschamp. I’ve trained you well your ready. Deliver that hope they seek and then leave our rivals in decades of despair. Once completed return home.

The way his defense has played this year, maybe they should try him out this weekend for the first half on a loaner.

I may be wrong & have been wrong before, but Schumann & Kirby did not forget how to coach in one year.
We don’t have the rusher on the defensive front or the secondary personnel we have had in the past.
Scott recruiting??
We definitely need to do a much better job in evaluating & getting talent out of the portal

Rather than “Scott recruiting” it may have been other teams’ willingness to pay more in NIL to the top defensive linemen the first couple of years of NIL.

I still question if there’s enough good coaches available or willing to leave their current gig to fill all these vacancies.

No.

Good for Glenn. Please…take him. Really. It’s OK. We’re good. Go ahead. Here’s his number.

Louisiana governor is making Jimmy Sexton’s job a little tougher at LSU, but something tells me the right buyout clause will help you get over a late night political tweet from Capitol Hill about a 4th down decision in the red zone as the clock runs out.

Yeah, LSU AD needs to be polishing up his resume as well.

Didn’t the world’s supply of turd polish run out around the time Tejas and PedSt flamed out?

Credit to the cajun guv for pointing out that LSU’s AD (who is repped by Jimmy Sexton/CAA), hired BK (repped by Jimmy Sexton/CAA). He also was at aTm and was the guy who hired Jimbo (repped by Jimmy Sexton/CAA). So he is responsible for the 2 biggest buyouts in history – and it all goes to the benefit of Jimmy Sexton.

Why do ADs need agents???

It was Ross Bjork, formerly of Ole Miss and currently with Ohio State, that extended Jimbo’s contract which led to the $76 million buyout. If Bjork hadn’t signed the extension, Jimbo’s buyout would have been closer to $30 million. So it wasn’t all Woodward in that case.
