We finished the season getting clobbered on the Plains and Aoki gave up 8 earned runs. Hopefully that’s not a sign of things to come.

Typical of Auburn to win the meaningless game. I’m sure they will claim another NC off of it.
Is the SEC baseball tournament the most useless sporting event on the calendar? All you can do is tire out your arms early leading to the regionals.
Either conference titles mean something in all sports or none. I get your point and it’s a good one but I can’t defend ignoring this and wanting to keep it in football.
The regular season champion is the conference champion. No need for a tournament.
I feel the same way about softball and hoops. There are enough games in the regular season to make the call.
We could do the same thing in football with 10 team leagues and 9 game conference schedules.
Can’t stuff that genie back into the bottle unfortunately.
That’s why I’m rooting for more conference expansion. Make every league so massive that splitting into 10 team divisions is the only option.
