If you are an SEC fan this has been a rough tournament. I think Arkansas is still in it, but I think that is about it. Not good for a conference with a lot of invites and several good seeds. Do we really suck or are we just worn out from paying each other in the regular season?
SEC has 4 teams in Sweet Sixteen, only BIG10 has more, perennial basketball conference ACC has one.
After the fact is not whut these comments are about, how FU treated us, how A&M treated us, how texass treated us wasn’t a good look for UGA basketball, beating the bammers at home wasn’t the shining light everyone else thought it was, not going deeper in the sec tournament was a serious concern, the seeding was good for UGA basketball to git to friday probably not semi’s, looking into the dance vs st louis, they were a rebounding first front line, UGA, not so much, it was apparent at the 14 minute mark, UGA’s plan wasn’t gonna go, at that point in time…last season in the sec was purely brutal, this year the same teams were o.k., strong, just not like last year, I get the preseason games, build up stats, build up wins, build up confidence, getting fan support involved…the transport port-o-let will bring new faces to UGA basketball, that 3 and sometimes 4 guard starting line up won’t go very far, unless you shoot 50% from 3 point land, 75% from the free throw line, have low turnover rate and rebound better than the average, UGA basketball will continue to be a 20-24 win team, get invited to the dance, then catch the first plane out of town….GO DAWGS!!

The SEC has 4 in the sweet 16: Tennessee, Alabama, Arkansas and Texas. The Big 10 has 6. The Big 12 has 3, the Big east 2 and ACC 1. The ACC is the one struggling.
This is football, l know. I remember trips coming back from Jax on Sunday, one time in particular. On 75 there was a car ahead of us. Had a gator tail hanging out the trunk and a sign that said “ Dooley’s Dawgs give gators droopy Dickey!! That was a classic!!
