Another day, another lawsuit against the NCAA’s eligibility rules

I have no idea if UTK is supporting this action or not.

I’m getting sick and tired of this. Go get a job, Joey, whether that’s in football or something else.

I've been a Dawg my entire life. UGA was always my dream school where I received 2 Terry College degrees and met my DGD wife. I've been a season ticket holder for over 30 years and love the in-stadium experience over anything from Section HD. My first game in Sanford Stadium was the 1981 Auburn game where we clinched the SEC championship. The best game I've attended in person was the Midnight Miss against Ohio State (nite, nite!). The best home games I've attended were the 1984 Clemson game (the Butler did it) and the 2013 LSU game (that 4th down is still the loudest single moment I've experienced between the hedges). The game I love to win is against the Handbags (FTMF), and the game I hate to lose is the NATS (Tuck Fech).

  1. Sweet Lil Baby Jebebus, Al Bundy’s 3 TDs for Polk High School thinks these rectal deposits are getting old…

  2. Army and Navy are looking around and saying wtf is going on here? maybe we should join the Ivy league… at least those are all students that also play college sports.

    • Shit, no, they are not. Navy finished 11-2 with a bowl win and Army was 7-6 with a bowl win and each got a share of the American conference CFB Playoff money. Like hell Army and Navy is walking away from.that to play Columbia and Brown in a low level FCS conference.

  3. The NCAA demise is getting closer , the replacement regulatory institution for the CFP is coming.

  4. Trying to hang around till they can get SS. Good luck with that. But l guess it beats working for a living. Good “job” if you can get it!!!

  5. If Tennessee didn’t support it, they’d say, “you can’t play for us kid/geezer, even if you win your interlocutory injunction….”

  6. Tennessee has a spot for him, has NIL money for him, offers a mini semester to satisfy that pesky student thing, and would welcome him back. Nothing to see here.

  7. So, I am going somewhere with this. Do any of you all know who Tony Eubanks is? I always viewed Tony as the perpetual college guy. Anyway, I kind of feel like these guys are going Eubanks. Get what I’m laying down?

  8. I remember when the one tooth hillbillies pissed and moaned that Stetson Bennett was 24 years old playing for UGA. Joey will be 25 when he suits up for ut this season. Suddenly qb age does not matter. Hypocritical trash.

  9. Thank you for posting that hilarious X post because this shit will be the end of my fandom. I heard someone say the other day that the NCAA just needs to request a “skinny” anti-trust related to eligibility and one transfer portal per year and really most of the problems would be fixed. I’m starting to agree with that.

    • I agree. I think an overwhelming majority of people are ok with college athletes’ ability to earn money. What they aren’t happy with is unlimited ability to transfer, the attacks on eligibility and tampering.
