Your Last 2025 Reminder that Auburn Sucks

I’d have to imagine Alex Golesh’s first impression of the Plains had to be on par with Morgan Freeman’s first impression of Eastside High School in Lean on Me.

Maybe all the departures are a good thing for Auburn, and maybe Golesh is going to infuse Auburn with USF transfers to take their place. Either way, it’s hard to imagine it could get any worse for the Barners.

On the other hand, if it can get worse, I’m here for it, too.

  1. Reading that a kid refused to get on the team plane unless he gets paid makes me feel good…because I predicted that shit when the nil discussion was in its infancy.

    • If that’s true you leave that idiot at the airport. You accomplish two things. Once the word gets out nobody else will want him and you can slash the amount you’re paying him now. I can’t believe these NIL contracts don’t contain language the prevents opting out or pulling BS moves like this.

    • As long as the mystery men are in charge at the Barn (and farking things up every chance they get), I’m a happy camper.

  2. New coach intro speech at Auburn: “I only want guys who are intelligent, came to work and be part of the TEAM.”

    Room empties.

    • Hell, they might have to shut down the whole university. And at that point all of the 3.1 GPA high school graduates in metro Atlanta would have to start looking at Ole Miss and South Carolina a lot more intently.

  3. Addition by subtraction. Burn down the Barn. I’m here for everything that’s coming. Couldn’t be worse for bigger bunch of assholes.

  4. The balloon payment on the 2010 season is coming due for Auburn. I can’t remember if I read it in the comments here or somewhere else, but this seems appropriate for Auburn: “the dildo of consequences rarely arrives lubed.”

  5. Can we start the over under losses for auburn in 2026 conversation now?
Put me down for another fabulous 5-7 season on the plains. FTMF, Go Dawgs and Happy New Year to Dawg Nation.
