Great Photos Must Tell a Story

Here’s a story everyone should enjoy.

I love the background in the first image, if I’m being completely honest here.

There’s never a bad day to hate on your local Bobby Hilllbillies.

Go Dawgs!

  1. The optics on that first pic is awesome. Kirbs is kissing the natty while Junior and LuLu are kissing our asses…Go Dawgs

  2. The only thing wrong with that second picture is the uncalled safety on that play. How that play was REVIEWED and still not called a safety is just incompetent.

    • It may have ended up better for us because of the short field created for SBIV to hit Ladd on that out and up(?) for a TD on the first offensive play after their punt.

      • I think all that did was delay the avalanche of points by us. I think if the safety stands…we hit Ladd anyway on the ensuing possession for aggregate of 9 points and it only would have gotten worse…but for that year all’s well that ended well…

        • Who knows if the call to the pass to Ladd is made if there’s a safety? My point is that we benefited from the fact that we scored a touchdown the next time we got the ball and were able to call the downfield shot because of field position.

          • Agree on the what if, but never under ANY circumstances should we let the officials off the hook. That was as bad of a call as it gets (after a review). No part of the player’s body was in the field of play other than the end zone. As much as A Tyler Simmons was on side, this was a safety. Greg Sankey and the conference office needs to pull their heads out of their collective asses and fix the officiating problem.

    • I’ve rewatched it 50 times & it is a safety by rule, every single time. both knees were down before he even reaches forward.

    • Musta’ been a cbs game, cause if the wwl and Agent Herbstreit with staff in tow, says it’s not a penalty, then by GAWD the flag must be picked up, call must be reversed and there exists no penalty, while peeps throw trash on the field and delay the game…GO DAWGS!!
