Throw and Catch – Some Scrimmage Highlight Film

Take a look at the one minute clip from yesterday’s scrimmage in Sanford.

#1, from what I’ve gathered, is Branch, and later in the clip it looks like Young is back in the mix, as well. It’s also nice to see that the guys are catching the ball, to say the least.

From what I’m hearing, Kirby has seen some improvement in the receiving corps and the linebackers are creating some buzz around the scrimmages, as well. What remains the wild card is what’s happening with our defensive and offensive lines, and I haven’t caught a lot of buzz about either group setting the world on fire. And while the snippets above may give some hope about improvements over what was witnessed in 2024, lest we forget last year’s highlight reel:

There’s still 13 days til G Day. Can’t wait to see what 2025 is going to look like.

  1. Hope we’ve got plenty GTPR readers and contributors going to G-Day so we can get some nice firsthand accounts for those of us blocked from viewing on TV by Kirby/NIL/ESPN/Sark/Transfer Portal.
