I have to think about who all has portaled in. Kendrick was a pretty big deal even as good as that defense was. If Stetson counts as a portal guy then it’s him without question.
And Dabo is Spurrier without the wit or coaching ability. Steve’s Spurrier’s stupid cousin.

Derrion Kendrick sure seemed to fill a need. He played well all year, beat Dabo (who I guess wasn’t going to play him at Clemson) and helped us win the NC.
Still believe he wants to get into that hc transfer port-o-let, he knows there isn’t a generational qb gonna’ land in the cow pie known as klempzin anytime soon, as long as CKS is at UGA football, alabamia is the place to be…GO DAWGS!!
Others have said it – Derion Kendrick. I didn’t study closely the facts of why Dabo kicked him off the team (I know it was a gun-related issue). As soon as the local authorities cleared him, Kirby was ready to embrace him.
Hoping McLeod has the opportunity to make a big impact on the d-line this fall.
On Dabo, it’s really easy to make the comment about players when you’re winning championships. The argument sounds hollow in context of this:

I don’t think so. JT wasn’t the starter when the just ended winning streak began. That would be SBIV in the Orange Bowl/CFP semifinal.
That doesn’t mean JT wasn’t a great transfer pick-up … He definitely was.
Hell I thought the streak was a regular season one and started after the 2020 Cocktail Party. If it was “X-1” those first 9 were still a good start.
I guess that streak is still going. We haven’t lost a true regular season game since the 2020 WLOCP (although that year, you could have called it the smallest).
And this is not pickin I guess but Jarvis didn’t technically portal to UGA as the portal didn’t exist.

We’ve had some nice additions, but it sems like we don’t really live or die by the portal. I like our approach.
Dabo is just pissed Mama didn’t call. He has chosen to go down with the ship. When the portal master at FSU beats the Clems like a rented mule Dabo will be gone.
Derion was a huge pickup in the portal, but I think it’s a 3-way tie between Dominic, RaRa (HUGE talent) and Tykee. Tykee was an All American who chose UGA. Tore up his knee, didn’t start after coming back, and still stuck around. Huge talent and DGD.
Kendrick filled an immediate need as a starter on day 1 that made a great secondary otherworldly. Every starter in that secondary has at least gotten a shot at the NFL.
