Not trying to be redundant, but this is worth a listen.
Comes as sweet and clear, as moonlight through the pines.
I don’t know what a music therapy major does, but that’s therapy for my soul.
Go Dawgs, and Amen!

A music therapy major brings joy to mine soul and tears from mine heart…Live Long and Prosper, the grads in the video seemed as though the moment was the best of times!!
That’s some talent. Kudos!
DAMN RIGHT!!!! Someone needs to send this to the supposedly prestige schools to show them what a graduation should look like.
Maybe there is hope for this generation.
Sent chills up my spine this mornin’….
Omgosh
wow!
My mom and I danced to that song at my wedding, Ray Charles version. Best official state song there is, and it’s not even close.
sunny beach, that young lady can SANG…just one more reason to be proud of our wonderful alma mater. Go Grad Dawgs!
Youngest daughter has a degree in Music Therapy. It’s kind of a mash up with music and psychology. Actually making a living at music is tough to do these days. I have personally worked with 7 really talented music grads (5 from UGA) only one of them is still making a living in music. But the therapy part gives you something to build on when you go to get a graduate degree.
Damn!!! Hope nobody had to talk after that!
Yes there is something in my eyes, and my heart pounds every time I hear it.
How about a GTP Refugee project in honor of the Senator, getting a petition together to play that before the start of the 4th quarter. Just roll into our current tradition.
Anybody got connections to the Redcoat Band director?
I was in the stadium when she sang this at graduation. It was beautiful, and it gives me chills hearing it again. What a wonderful moment for these graduates, many it’s their first graduation since they were deprived back in 2020. Congratulations to her for such an incredible performance and such a great addition to the graduation ceremony.
