Good morning uhhhh… afternoon! First time we’ve had to do this in 30 years. I’d love to see the same 48-10 outcome! Unfortunately, I won’t be watching along with the rest of you tonight. Mine and ee’s high school alma mater (Worth County High School) won a region title this year for the first time since 1995. We’ve advance through the first two rounds and are hosting Fitzgerald tonight. We will be attending the game to cheer on our local boys and we’ll keep a watch on our phones for scoring updates. As I told a buddy this week, UGA can handle the nerds without me watching. And… if they can’t, I really don’t want to see that anyway!

So the Dawgs lose at home. Totally out coached and manhandled on the line of scrimmage. If Kirby doesn’t get a new DC next year he’s an idiot. This defense is unbelievably inconsistent.
OL has been trash all year.
And even if we pull this out after the turnover we still need a new DC
And it won’t change the fact we got out played and out coached tonight. Not the first time we’ve been out coached this season either. I don’t understand it. That’s not something you can normally say about Kirby’s teams.
Supposedly Schuman is being named as a possible hc somewhere but I can’t remember where.
I hope someone offers and he takes it. I’m afraid Kirby won’t fire him.

I rarely agree with chasing point early, take the FG in the first half,go for 1 on the 1st TD. It’d be 27-24 make the FG at the half tie game. Complete fails all the way around.

With the way the defense is playing tonight, I would have been ok with it that time.
I would say the defense has been pathetic tonight, but that would actually be an improvement.

Everette has been getting abused pretty regularly this year. It’s hard to imagine we don’t have anyone else better.
As terrible as the D has been, they had more bright spots than this offense especially in the first 45 minutes.

Giant celebration after giving them 100 opportunities to win it.
UGA was out coached and out played for 45 min. Thankfully the recruiting paid off with more depth. The game should have never made it to OT and should have ended earlier.
I am happy to rip the hearts out of GT but still not happy with Smart and his staff.
It’s a win (hideously ugly but a win nevertheless), and it had to be soul crushing for GT (bonus).

The only positive from this win … and we keep the home winning streak alive.
What the hell did we just witness? Greatest underachievement or cardiac comeback? I’m glad we won and not walking back any of the criticism. Resilient? Yes. Elite? I guess we’ll see.
Whatever it was, it shouldn’t have ever come to that.
This year’s team definitely isn’t elite despite having elite talent. Elite teams are consistent. This team is a lot of things but consistent isn’t one of them.

Just a little bit of offense in the first half and this would have been over a long time ago. The D got whipped, but they were on the field for a long time and a lot of plays. We can’t score 0 points in a half and point at the D. That just my opinion. That being said, what the hell is wrong with our defense?? 🤣 Missed tackles, huge holes, wide open receivers. Someone has dropped the ball, and it’s not Smith or Lovett this time.
What happened. Did Key and Smart agree to play again this morning and Tech won and I missed it?
