It is a lovely autumn Saturday morning. I should have planned better and been up in the N Georgia mountains enjoying a walk with my dog before sitting outside and cooking some beef and/or pork over wood coals.
I have some trepidation about today’s game. Oklahoma has been terrible this year but they were a playoff team last year, Venables can construct a good defensive game plan to keep it close and Mateer is just mobile enough, and tough enough to cause some problems.
I would love for us to start fast, get up by two scores early and then adapt to whatever kind of bs Oklahoma throws at us.
